quattro+xi2 -> fun by AD[_2_]
Finally water started to solidify on the pavement and drifting had began. Glare ice is fun but more so when there is some water on top (no studs on X Ice 2, wink wink) I don't mind the electronic diff-block and drive-away assistance ESP components, but me thinks electronic stabilization won't be...

ContiProContact in a snowstorm by AD[_2_]
OMG, it's horrible. I think even RE-92s were not nearly as bad. I've pulled a set of Xi 2 off last week and haven't really adjusted to these all seasons on snow (that fell last night). It was the first time that I was ever thankful to audi for ESP. It took me two full hours running morning errands...

Id Audi A6 1996 2.6 (2.8) V6 by Jens[_2_]
Hi My car some times has an idling problem when cold (<0 deg cel). The engine rev's goes up and down when idleling (500 - 2000 revs) and the climate system thinks that the engine is hot so it puts the blower on full speed in order to heat up the cabin. This tells me that a temperature sensor...

Tire load by AD[_2_]
Parking here is extremely tight. Hence softroading is common if not mandatory :-[ I got onto a packed dirt embankment lately and it looked like the rear right was nearly off the ground (A4 with sport suspenders has extremely beefy front and rear sway bars and i think that was a contributing factor...

A4 B6 Sport Suspension rear toe oddity that keeps popping up in thewheel alignment (rear right) by AD[_2_]
I have about 0 degrees 16 minutes toe on rear left and about 0 degrees 17 on the rear right which is slightly outside the range specified by audi, I believe the rusty adjuster nut and washer had been replaced: what likely needs to be fixed to get to 0o12' or less specified for the rear...

Manual lock, just a single freaking lock on the driver's side? youmust be kidding me by AD[_2_]
I was (unpleasantly) surprised by the fact that the ONLY mechanical key is on the driver's door. No keyhole on the passenger side, nothing on the 5th door of my 2003 A4 avant. While the latter is expected having no redundancy in mechanical entry is not acceptable on what now is a $36k+ car I have...
