Used Civic or new Fit? by
nblomgren
My 2002 Saturn was a casualty in the Tennessee tornadoes last Friday.
I'm looking for something reliable, inexpensive, and fuel-efficient,
with manual transmission, under $15,000.
Saturn seems to have given up on fuel-efficiency and most of the other
things that once made it a sensible...

Honda key fobs and how to replace when lost by
Guy[_2_]
I forgot to ask this from the dealership at purchase and I know I can
still ask but I'll ask here first.
I seem to remember getting a couple of little metal chips on the key
chain and told to use that to get a replacement key fob. I think this
was on my 2003 when new but I didn't get anything...

More on the bailout by
Rock Hardson
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/12/19/AR2008121903675.html?hpid=topnews
I suspect once the US auto industry gets on a level field the foriegn
companies may be in for an ass kicking.

Questions about new Accord by
[email protected]
I've just bought an 09 Accord. A couple of little questions please...
Never had a honda before. This Memory Minder that tells us when
things need to be done, etc.... I've read the manual well, but one
thing
that isn't clear to me. Let's say I do my first oil change at 5k
miles,
and reset the...

2008 Honda Civic Ex Maintenance Schedule by
Avalon1178
Hi, I recently bought a new 2008 Honda Civic Sedan EX after my older
model (2005) was totalled during a car accident. I'm still getting
used to the new car but so far so good. One big big change with the
new car is what appears to be the absence of a maintenance schedule.
I'm used to going to the...

Which To Buy? by
DodgeDriver
We are in the USA. Granddaughter is looking to buy her first car. She is
talking Honda Civic. Don't know why, but she believes that is what she
wants. She will have about $5,000 (US) to spend. I lean toward something
not more than 5 years old. Haven't started looking but thought I would...

How to temporary chill a car with non-working AC. by
Burt Squareman
The A/C system in an `89 old Honda is completely dead. They
quoted a price of about $1500 to fix but the car's worth as much as
that. I like to put in a 700 watt 117V portable or standard home air
conditioner in the trunk but worry it may drain the battery. Is it
possible to make a difference by...

Proper Radiator Cap Pressure Rating for 1994 Honda Accord EX? by
Gary Kaucher
1994 Honda Accord EX, 4 door
4 cylinder, Automatic Transmission
I just recently replaced the Radiator fan motor, and now both my AC fan
and Radiator fan seem to be capable of turning on and off. However,
I don't think that they are turning on soon enough. With the recent hot
weather here in PA, if...

I broke off my Oxygen sensor by
Danny Beardsley
In the process of trying to replace my O2 (Oxygen) sensor on my 1993
honda civic EX, I broke the old one off. I tried some usual stuff,
knocking it with a hammer, liberal WD-40, running the car for a bit to
heat up the manifold. Anyway, TINK! it broke. Any suggestions?

New Honda being delivered Wednesday by
Seth[_3_]
Well after 10 years of service and over 266,000 miles my '01 Accord EX-V6
Auto is finally leaving the family. This is the combination that Honda
extended the warranty on to like 109,000 miles. Never needed anything done
to it. That is until recently and now every morning I have a P0780 error....

2006 Hondas by
MAT
I just read over at www.vtec.net about the 06 Accord 6MT sedan, the vigorous
trim lines for 06 Civic and with the Jazz coming, I think Honda is making
some cool moves for 06! Pretty cool, huh.

Jiffy Lube, Honda, and the Wallet Flush by

damaged by these procedures), Some Jiffy Lubes continue to hard sell the

UAW inflexible on concessions... by
Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B[_2_]
Morons. The companies are about to go down the tubes but the union leaders
refuse to give anything back. As a matter of fact, they're asking for more.
The auto industry in this country should be allowed to go down the tubes.
Then they can restart with workers who realize having a job at an OK...

Enable DRL on 2005 US Spec CR-V? by
RWM
Is there an OEM relay, say from a Canadian spec CR-V, that can enable a
DRL function on a US spec car?
How about best aftermarket kit to burn the high beams at reduced voltage
as DRLs?
Thx.
