IN-CRE-DI-BLE (crappy) luck by
Jan Andersson
ARGH!!!!
It does NOT end!!!!
The LAST car I had that actually works, despite not being inspected, is
my 67 Frannie.. I got teh door panels all straightened out, got teh
engine to run good, and ran over a piece of metal that punctured the
front tire.

WTF IDF "Starter Circuit"? by
jjs
It's getting cold so I'm doing curious stuff like taking things apart.
(There's nothing more dangerous than a fool like me with tools!)
So, I have a Weber DCOE from years back. It's got an enrichening circuit for
starting. And I have a spare Weber IDF40 I'm getting ready to sell. So, I
did a...

Help a simpleton with a grease gun by
Mike Rocket J. Squirrel Elliott
I need Dummy's Guide to Using a Grease Gun. Thought this would be
simple, but I am stumped.
The Wonderbus's front end is jacked up in the air, ready to have its
steering bits lubed. The fittings have all been cleaned and are
gleaming. I have a new pneumatic grease...

Has Anyone installed a VDO Electric Speedometer? by
Scott
AS luck would have it I replaced the mechanical old VDO speedometer in
my dune buggy with the newer electronic version. After calibrating the
thing on a true mile distance and getting it to work, the needle
movement is worse than the damn gas gauge splashing around. Way to
much lag and jump in...

"No garage" classic car insurance available? by
MATT S.
Hi,
I'm looking to insure my soon to be 1955 bug. I will NOT be putting
2,500 miles/year on the car, it will be driven to shows and for
lesiurely drives only. However since my wife's car has 'custody" of
the garage ( part of our deal for me to get this car) I therfore, do
not have a garage to keep...

wheel cylinder by

I've been losing brake fluid for the past season in my stock 56 oval &
finally found the source (well, it really revealed itself). My right front
wheel cylinder is now leaking pretty seriously. I've looked at Bentley for
"how to" but reading the lack of detail leaves me a little...

Need a '62-'67 taillight housing. Help? by
Chip Keller
Hi All,
I'm midway through the paintwork on the '66 and have discovered that
the original RR taillamp housing is rusted out on the bottom. I know
this is a common spare, but yards are few and far between here (Ohio).
A cheap spare would be far easier than welding the thin, perforated
metal that's...
