2006 V6 idle problems by Thomas Hart[_1_]
Here's a problem that's been nagging me ever since the car was new. Right now it has about 2500 miles on it. It's a 2006 V6 manual transmission Mustang that has a intermittent idle problem. 2 trips to the dealer have proved fruitless so far - the damn thing never acts up when I get it there....

Does anyone know were I might find a carbon fiber Mach I hood that fits the '87-93 Mustang GT's? I know its pretty rare in the first place to find a carbon hood let alone if they even make a Mach I style. Greatly appreciate the help, thanks! Nick

Checkout my new custom gauge cluster 69 coupe by [email protected]
I got these racing gauges at a swap meet for $150, big tach, mechanical: oil pressure, oil temp, water temp. A freind of mine gave me his cracked dashpad and fabbed up the cluster face with scrap aluminum. I covered the dash cracks by spraying with rubberized undercoat and a flat black top coat....

351 Windsor Oil Pressure Problem by CG
My question is about a 351 Windsor engine. On cool days (70 degrees), it runs fine and the engine temp hovers only halfway to the red zone and the oil pressure is steady. On hot days (over 80 degrees), it runs hot and will overheat if I push it at all. When the engine idles down to 600-700 RPM,...

Saw a GT500 yesterday by Mort Guffman
It was a black convertible, with the center stripes delete option. It really looked nice. I talked to the marketing guy - he works for Ford, not at a local dealer, He said the typical markup above sticker is 10-20K. I asked about build quantities. He said 10,000 units per year. So maybe in a...

Where to look for classic Mustang... by St. Ruete_r
Hi, just a not-so-short question from one of the "old world" fans of American muscle cars... Mustangs (classic ones, at least) are really expensive on this side of the pond, whereas buying one in the U.S. plus shipping, tax etc. still is quite affordable. Specialized dealers in the UK,...

1998 Mustang Key Code by [email protected]
Hi, I recently lost my keys. I need to get new ones made and the locksmith company here in my town is trying to charge me $200 for this. Does anyone know the 1998 Mustang key code? That will save me some money if I know it. Also, can I program them myself? Thanks for any advice/help, Hannah

9" rearend build up by [email protected]
I have small bearing 9" with 3.00 gears, an open diff and 28 spline axles. Its under my 66 stang, I dont have a high horsepower engine but I really need to get some traction. But I was wondering how strong the small bearing housings are? Would be a waste to put money into to this housing?

The Mistress is now a 12 second car! by John S.[_1_]
Well with a little help from Scott Hoag from MRT, we fabbed up an off-road Y-pipe for the Mistress. Took her out for some Test-n-Tune yesterday... WOW! What a difference! The extra umph was enough to take The Mistress from a 13.2 down to a solid 12! Best run of the day was 12.845 @ 107.12 MPH!...
