battery drain - 06 'stang by Itsfrom Click
anybuddy else run into this? I don't drive my '06 very often (900 miles since February - GT convert). Even tho' it's parked in my attached garage, at first I would lock it up and set the alarm (has the optional active system with motion detectors, etc). The battery went completely dead after...

Question about horsepower by goodnigh
The factory rating for my '71 Grande is from 285 to 300 HP depending on where you look. My question is, does the 285 HP rating mean the same today as it did in 1971. Like the octane rating '71 vs. '06 the numbers have changed. Octane 91 today means roughly 98-99 octane in '71. Did the same thing...

'79 brakes by JohnO
My son's '79 lost its brakes yesterday, and we spent today fighting this: I can't get all the air out of the left-front line. We've run 8-10 ounces of fluid through the system, which is maybe 18 inches long on this wheel, and still there are bubbles with no end in sight. The system must be sucking...

Mustang News: "The Mustang continues to be one of the few bright spots in Ford's product range, and Dearborn intends to make the most of the reborn ponycar's popularity." NoOp Comment: And to think back in the late 80's Ford was going to kill it by switching it to FWD (the "Probe...

Poll: How many miles do you get on your low fuel light? by wabbitslayer
About half-way home today I noticed that my low fuel light was on. Oops, especially since the nearest gas station was about 10 or 12 miles away. I didn't stop there though b/c I had to come straight home; so now I guess I'll see if I can make it to the station in the morning, I reset the trip...

93 GT dash vent problem by Fixing Stuff
Suddenly my dash vent selector does not work... all air comes out the windshield defrost vents no matter where the selector is set. I suspect it is simply a broken linkage/cable or vacuum pot or hose. Anyone have suggestion on where to start on troubleshooting this one?

FUEL ISSUES by Rick[_4_]
My son has a 92 Mustang 5.0 with fuel problem I think. It idles beautifully but when you give it the gas she seems to be starving for fuel. She bogs big time. The pump has been changed as well as the filter. Timing is fine too. I would think the check engine light would come on however it...
