Sagging headliner fix by
[email protected]
I searched for weeks for a simple fix to my sagging headliner woes.
But eventually I had to give up on looking for advice and bite the
bullet. Here is what I did:
I carefully pulled the headline loose on the driver side where it clips
in the door frame. Next I reached in and removed the first...

The elbows for that air thing under the hood by
Ray Dios Haque
I am in the midst of replacing my dash. I haven't decided with what
yet, but I have peeled off the ugly cracked (and low quality) vinyl
slap-over replacment. In the process I decided this would be a good
time to take care of my cracked up and equally low quality air vent
parts. But I can't find...

water cooled turbo charger without water by
Scott
Ok, I have a rather stupid sounding question -- what happens if you run
a oil+water cooled turbo without connecting it to water. The reason I'm
asking is I'm looking for a turbo to put on a 1600 vw aircooled engine.
During my junkyard-shopping, it looks like most everything I find is
water+oil...

found my engine problem by
george taylor
I split the case today and found out why the motor was pushing air out of
the carb instead of sucking it in. Somehow The cam was off about 40 deg. I
know, at least I thought that, my friend and I checked that damn thing when
we assembled it but we missed it somehow. It was strange that even though...

Re-bushing a carb? by
Mel P.
Before I actually try it, how can I test the carb to make sure the bushings
are the problem?
I have access to a machine shop. Are there sites or webpages that describe
the procedure? Are the bushing sold or should I just make my own?

car show by
Dennis Wik
Just got back from another local car show. They had about 130 cars. I
was the only imported car and the only sports car except for the 6
vettes. I entered my Puma in the 70's stock class with all the chevys
and fords and even one caddy convertible. In this show for a change the
judging was done...

vangon for sale in SE Pennsylvania, USA by
Rich
A fixer upper project located in Northern Berks County, PA. I have about
six major projects I have to get to around the house, so it'll be
2006-2007 until I can get to it. I'd just rather not just have it
sitting in the driveway another year or two.

I still have a full set of full length floorpans, with jacking attachment,
and seat rails. I am not sure which year they are, but the invoice simply
states, "early floor pans."
They are located in Cedar Hill, just south of Dallas, Texas. I will try to
post pictures of them later in the...

type 2 houseboat conversion by
Robinder
Hi folks! Let's dare to dream a moment...my type 2 (a 1975) has some
serious frame rot and some rather severe engine leaks. I'm told that
without major work, there's no way it will pass even the most forgiving
vehicle inspection standards in the country (Alberta). Problem is that
the interior is...
