How hot could you build a naturally-aspirated 5.0L? by
Rich
Just what could you do to the engine to keep it street legal, running on
premium gas and be ok for regular (not every day) driving? Seems like
today, most people just slap on a supercharger or use NOS.

Next Up A New 'Cuda? by
NoOp[_2_]
I say when they revise the Challenger platform (like Chrysler just
revised the Charger) the new bodywork/car should be a 'Cuda.
Chrysler 'Cuda anyone?

New Mustang Show (Pilot) by
GILL
Saw this posted on the web, looks pretty good. It's Mustang only, but
there's so much Mustang, it could be interesting. Don't see that it's
been picked up by any networks yet.

A special Mustang at the local Ford dealer by
dickr2
Our local Ford dealer had a very nice new GT mustang on
display. It was just a GT, but it had almost every dealer
installed Mustang racing option; exhaust, suspension, brakes,
transmission, clutch, supercharger, etc. The list of dealer
installed options was amazing! They called it a afv, which
I...

Remember the Import Trolls? by

I clipped the following from a website posting. Boy, how times have
changed. Import guys giving "high praise" to a Mustang.
I’m writing in response to last week’s column on Honda and Toyota, and
to tell you where you can find a new group of fans. Some of your fans
can be found on the car talk...

"Classics". I must be getting old. Doesn't seem that long ago these
cars were new, sitting on dealer lots and me wondering how my
brand new 5.0L, 5-Speed, 308 geared no-LX would do in a drag race
against one.

2011 5.0 Convertible questions by
Joe Granto
I am close to buying a 2011 5.0 convertible (manual), and have a few
questions for the group:
1. What is the benefit of cloth or vinyl for the convertible top? I
assume cloth is better, but am unsure. I live in Florida, so the car
will never be in snow, but will get beat down by the sun.
2. Are...

2011 5.0 clutch question by
Joe Granto
I just test drove a new 2011 Mustang 5.0 (manual) and found that I
really disliked the clutch - it has a very long throw and engages near
the end (when pushing IN), leading to an unpleasant experience.
Is there an after-market clutch that has a shorter throw? I am
seriously in the market for a new...

Need information on removing a starter in a 02 Mustang GT by
NotMe
Long story short I'm retired (by near 15 years) my son's GF has a mustang GT
with a 4.6L V8 (I let my aligator mount overload my bird dog butt)
Starter is gone and I'm (self) elected to do the replacement. I can get the
two obvious mounting bolts out but can't seem to reach the third (part not...
