Dents in the roof by
Tom[_4_]
The grandkids jumped on the hood and roof of my 1948 Studebaker.
I popped out the dents with my hand (ouch).
What is the best method to "iron-out" the creases ?

Burned fuse or something else by
beth_r
I'm kind of beating myself senseless for this stupidity but it wasn't
entirely my fault. Yesterday morning my car wouldn't start, so after work my
friend took me to go get new jumper cables, we ended up having to switch
parking spots due to the local of our batteries on our cars. I was...

Mineral oil makers never reveal their oils' max temperature limits by
TE Chea
to avoid losing sale. Most users are not aware that if engines'
cooling malfunction, mineral oil will become tar & jam tappets
& oil flow. Japanese ( Hyundai too ) cars' water temperature
gauges are not calibrated, so most users can only guess how hot
their engines get ( esp while climbing steep...

oil capacity and lifespan by
[email protected]
Most 4-cylinder engines (anything up to say 2.5L) have around 4 litres
oil capacity.
A Jeep V8 5.2L engine has 4.7 litres oil capacity.
Does it mean the oil has a tougher life in the V8 compared to the 4-cyl
given the same driving condition? And so that means more frequent oil
changes for the...

Electrical loading of MAF sensor output... by
frenchy
Hello there,
I am designing an auto accessory that would respond to the MAF sensor
voltage (0-5v analog GM/Bosch style). I will therefore need to tap
into the MAF sensor signal which is being sent to the ECM. My
question is relating to the input impedance of my accessory. What
shall the...
