[email protected]
My 1990 Honda Civic DX 1.5, engine stops when it reaches normal
operating temprature. Replaced ignition coil and main relay and still
have the problem. Starts right up after cooling down for 1/2 hour or
so. It has a new distributer and plugs as well. Before I throw it in
the river, could it be...

what is that tube, anyway by
z[_1_]
Like a lot of folks, I got tired of the air inlet for the PCV from the
big air pipe after the air cleaner, puking up oil every once in a
while and gumming up the throttle body, so I decided to swap over to
one of those cute little filters that go over the inlet on the cam
cover. (this is a honda...

1991 Honda Accord Problem! Help needed. by
Gyuri
Hi. I recently bought a 1991 Honda Accord (Manual) that is in a pretty
good shape if it's not of the little rust at the wings and the fuel
leak when the tank is full. All that is not a problem it will be fixed
but there's a really annoying problem I'm experiencing and I'm not
quite sure what causes...

Civic Window Only Partially Closes by
ecarecar
With a mire 5 degrees out, my 98 Civic drive-side window started binding
about
half way up. With coaxing and force I got it 75% up and got home.
When I got home I happened to notice the problem was that the window
got on the
outside of the rubber "gasket" around the window frame. What...

Rear brake light replacement in 2002 Odyssey by
PlainBill
One of the rear brake lights in my wife's '02 Odyssey isn't working.
The owners manual seems to be quite clear on how to remove the tail
light assembly and replace the bulb. (Use a flat screwdriver to open
the covers, remove the screws, and slide the assembly back from the
body).
The covers lift...

Follow up to 12/12 post -- "All the oil ran out of my new 2007 CR-V" by
Chuck Connell
When I last posted, I had decided to accept Honda's offer to repair the
blown crank seal and give me an extended warranty. (The original post is
copied below.) Since that time I have been tracking the gas mileage, as a
possible way to see if there is any engine damage. I am now quite sure that...

Similar issue by

Thanks for the links.
I have a similar problem. After an ice storm, my wiper arms were
frozen in position. Once I broke the ice off, they found a resting
position at a 45 degree angle and twich every once and a while, even
though the setting is now at off. (And they do not move at all when I
do...

restricted supply by
jim beam
the online honda parts retailer, san leandro honda, has just wound back
their parts availability - they now only go back to 1992, so all 4th gen
civics, and all crx parts are unavailable from them. it's doubly
disappointing as they were a good reference for parts numbers and online
diagrams.

Hissing sound from Air Conditioner on 97 Accord by
[email protected]
I have a 97 Accord with a bit over 200K.
For the past 20K or so, I hear an intermittent hissing sound below the
glove box when the AC switch is activated. Cooling seems to work fine,
verified this summer in the scorching heat of the southwest. Other
than being quite annoying, I am wondering if this...

'99 Civic suspension questions by

Hello- I recently bought a '99 Civic HX, which the previous owner had
put in a coil-over kit that stiffened the suspension and lowered the
car about 1.5". Now I have changed jobs and have a much longer
commute, and the hard ride is starting to get old (handles great
though in cornering and quick...

1993 Honda Civic Transmission questions by
[email protected]
How much transmission fluid is required when I drain it? Also the auto
part stores online show that there is a filter for the automatic
transmission but I keep seeing remarks of that there is no filter. So
is there a filter?
