How to protect myself by
TF
I'm looking at an '04 with 1800 miles on it, but it's in Pittsburgh.
For all that don't know, it gets real cold there in january, when the car
was purchased.
Also, it was owned by a woman.
So, cold + woman could be bad combo, based on some previous experience.
How can I be sure the block isn't...

selective ride? by
TF
Hi
When I drove around the block in the new '04 conv, I could not tell the
difference between tour and sport modes.
How much difference is there really?
On the highway?
Tooling around town?
Thanks,
TF

Remote keyless entry problem ('96) by
Doug Haxton
Hello all,
About 6 months ago, the battery died on my remote ('96 coupe).
Somehow, I never got around to replacing it, but I finally did so this
afternoon. I've been following the instructions in the manual, but
I'm having trouble. Here's what the manual says to do:
With the key in the "on"...

Red Line Oil Recommendation by
Drink
Does anybody have any recommendation for Red Line oil for use in the
Vette's 350 w/ TPI? I've never used it and know it's good but don't
understand some viscosity claims.
Red Line infers that a lower viscosity is recommended since 10W30's as
viscuous as normal 10W40 and 10W40's better than normal...

2004 Vettes by
Joel Jacobs
I don't know how many they have left - if any - but Bob Stall Chevy in La
Mesa, California, (near San Diego) had 2004s listed at $33,000 and change
last week. I did not look to see how they were equipped as I was drooling
over the C6s. But if anyone wants a 2004 it would be worth contacting...

I now have the time and enough cash to pursue a long held wish of owning,
driving, and working on a Corvette . but I need a reality check.
The plan is to buy an over-the-hill Corvette and go to work on it. Among
the things I would expect to do a repaint, rebuild the engine and
transmission,...
