ipod/aux socket for shaker 500 by davea
Is there anything on the market that will connect an ipod through the aux socket to the shaker 500 stereo on the new shape mustang? I've only seen chargers that plug into the power socket on the dash but nothing that goes into the aux socket. If not, can anyone recommend an adapter?

Horsepower question by Gumby619[_2_]
I just got home from work and on the way there was a v6 stang, 07 I think toying with me. I usually just laugh at them as they are easy to beat. This guy took me all the way to 120 before I caught him. Here is my question: I have a 97 GT, all stock. I've been told it has roughly 250 hp. Can...

Mustang Shelby by Les Benn
I was waiting for my car to get an oil change and took a look at a Mustang Shelby (not the 500) and was shocked. Sticker for the Mustang GT 29K not too bad. Shelby decorations 12K again not too bad. Market markup another 12K they have to be drunk to think I am paying 24K to have Shelby on the...

1965 Mustang Rear End Data Plate by Chris[_21_]
Hoping someone out there could decode the following rear end data plate: WCZ-E 2.80 5DC 911 I'll be rebuilding it and while at it I was considering the SSBC rear disc conversion. I put the SSBC front disc conversion a couple of years ago. Was wondering if anyone had any opinion on...

Why wont ford offer a 32 valve v8 in Mustang that consumers can buy ? by owl
I love the Mustang as much as anyone. I cannot buy a V8 unless it is a centered plug 4-valve DOHC. I was considering the GT500. When I heard they are going for 20k over MSRP that cured my itch. As long as Ford's flagship sports car wont offer the 32 valve DOHC to the customer, they will prove...

Need help adding radio to 65 mustang by [email protected]
I am adding a second radio in the trunk of my 1965 ford mustang (keeping the original in dash radio, well original). As many of you know, new radios come with blue (power ant), red (ignition), black (ground), and yellow (memory) wires. I am a novice electrical guy...very uninformed, but...

Another moment of silence by dwight[_1_]
Several things trouble me about this story. "Boynton Beach -- Stephen V. wasn't going to drive away like a punk, friends said. So he accepted the challenge to race the silver Ford Mustang that had beat his Dodge Neon SRT-4 before. V., 18, thought he would win this time. He knew how to speed up...

strange discharging by clunky
My 1994 Mustang has a 3.8 L motor and it starts great and idles perfect. But every now and again the volt gauge will do a quick dip as if something with a heavy drain like the fan on high was turned on. Then the needle will do a little dance, dipping down for no apparent reason. This will also...

I have a 1995 Mustang and I need to take the passenger door panel off. I think it just snaps off but i want to be certain. I see no visible screws, nuts or bolts, rivets, or anything of the sort. Do i just need to strong arm it a little bit to get it to pop off so i can get to the lock? We had AAA...

Rev limiter by goodnigh
Read somewhere about a factory installed rev limiter on early '70, '71 Mustangs. How can I tell if my car has one other than the obvious way which is not always practical?

1990 Ford Mustang 5.0L LX Automatic Traveling from the Central Coast to San Diego I experienced the pleasure of my mustang crapping out in San Diego traffic. Before I left, I changed the oil, filled all fluids, I mean all of them. Everything was going good...Until I stalled in traffic. I pulled...

MACH I or Grande by goodnigh
While looking through printed and online catalogues, you rarely find reference to "Grande". As far as ordering simple body parts, may I assume the Grande and MACH I share many of the same parts? Mine is a 1971 Grande 1F04M with body style 65F.
