Good price for 05 Corvette? by
Jack Dotson
Are the dealers getting sticker out of the new Vette, or is there some room
to haggle? I'd like to get the basic model Vette expect that I might get an
automatic so the wife can drive it, haven't made a decision on this yet. :-)
Thanks,
Jack

How to check C.E. trouble codes (Ford) sorry ;-) by
RicSeyler
The guy in the store next to mine had the check engine light
come on a couple times in his van. I told him I'd see if they can
be checked without a code reader like GM.
1993 Ford Aerostar Van, V6 3.0.
Question:
1) Can I jump at a terminal like GM? (if so: which points to jump?)
2) Does the check...

Eratic idle - Stalls in idle by
rango25
I have a 1995 Chevy tracker that has an erratic idle and stalls in idle. I
have tried a new air filter , new fu le filter, tune ups, but they did not
help at all. I have also installed a new catalytic converter.
What else could cause this problem?

'87 C4 - A/C: Recharge stock or convert to new refrigerant? by
Ed Berns
Hi all,
My '87 coupe's A/C is blowing cool but not cold so should I recharge the
original A/C and keep the setup all original for that future collector or
convert to the new refrigerant (R12 vs R34?)?
Surprise, surprise, the cost at local garages (for recharge or conversion)
and the nearby Chevy...

Four wheels but a bit off topic by
Tom in Missouri
Usually I do pretty good on the mechanical stuff, but I've hit a problem I'm
not sure how to handle.
It is time for a new lawn tractor. The current one is a Montgomery Wards
tractor, so you know how old this thing has to be. I inherited it with the
house. It is an 18 hp 42 inch so that is...

What aftermarket exhaust to buy?? by
Mike
Posting this for my brother...
He says he has to have a louder exhaust system than he's got, on his '04
Vette convertible (automatic, comemorative edition).
He wants it to have a "low rumble" at idle or at a stop light, and a
"throatier" sound on acceleration than the factory system. I imagine...
