Actual cost of installing a V8? by
Jay Honeck
We've got a 2000 Mustang convertible that a previous owner spent too
much money on making into a "Cobra clone", with the enhanced
suspension, wheels, exhaust, and cosmetic stuff. We bought it because
we wanted a nice convertible Mustang, and all that other stuff was just
gravy.

water/methanol injection by

Is this worth doing ? to a street 1993 5.0 supercharged Keene Bell with #8
and pings about #5 and above when hot(80 and above) outside, and when
engine gets heat soaked it pings above #1, takes a few hours at 95 or more.
(no bypass on compressor)
seems like an easy fix. Use a stage 2 very,...

the electric mustang by
Seybertron
I know this sounds like the destruction of all that muscle cars stand
for, but has anyone heard of modifying classic cars to go all "green."
There has recently been a lot of hype about retro-fitting modern cars
like jettas, saturns, and other cars with electric motors. Does anyone
know of this...

big wheels 67 by
Will
Hi, I'm trying to fit bigger wheels on my mustang, the biggest it can
fit actually, but I can't find out what is good. I've decided on 15''
in the front and the back, and I want to be the back to be a little
bigger than the front. What can I fit, I want 275/60's but I'm pretty
sure that's too much....

Thanks to all over the years by
Dave Combs
Thanks to all of you for helping me with the '90 LX 5.0 that I've had for 17
years. Alas, I fell in love with an '07 GT 5 speed in Vista Blue so the '90
is now up for sale on EBay. But in regard to the '07, does anyone know if
there is a cargo net available somewhere? Don't want stuff sliding...

PCV valve, the right one (from front of engine) is
at full vacuum and is plugged. The left one is connected
to a TVS that has control over vacuum...

Shift kit... Hmmmm. by
dwight[_1_]
Interesting.
The first time it shifted from first to second, it threw me.
CFrog: '93 GT convertible, automatic. Just came out of a transmission
overhaul with an added TransGo shift kit. I heard that it would be like
speed-shifting a manual, but no - the shift is instantaneous. (My girls
won't...

Cleaning MMR High Flow Intake Filter by
Culburt
How do you clean the "washable" MMR High Flow Intake Filter ?
I see assorted cleaning kits about the net in a search, most seem
specific to a brand, but I don't find any for my MMR one.
Suggestions? Experiences?
Thanks

I was hoping someone could help with an issue I have with my '65

"ALT" indicator and headlights start flashing. I have noticed that the
"ALT" indicator flashes when you use the brake or turn signals, but it
