corolla melting manifold hose by [email protected]
My corolla melted the original manifold? hose. Replaced it with non genuine hose and same thing occurred within 10 min. Can the air have become hotter than usual or do I just need genuine part?

Correct my math, if it's wrong by RichA
I used 8.2litres to travel (highway) 94km today. That works out to 31mpg, correct? If so, I'm amazed my Mach-1 managed it. -Rich

CORRECTION - it's Mustangs PLUS that I used! by Thomas Cameron
I am such a tool. I was looking at Mustangs Unlimited and Mustangs Plus, and somehow I got the wrong name in my head when I made my earlier post. I chose Mustangs Plus over Mustangs Unlimited, and Carl is the guy I dealt with at Mustangs Plus. His contact info is: Toll...

Corrosion protection new Mustang - ?? by User
Hi all, we have a discussion here in our community (www.dr-mustang.com) if our Mustangs are well protected against corrosion / rust. Some specs leave us with the idea that all body is made of galvanized steel and therefore corrosion protection is ok. Others look onto from below and see" Oh,...

Cost of painting vs. value of car by JohnV@nn
How does a person come to grips with paying $2000 to paint a car that is worth less than $2000? I know the paint job will increase the value a couple hundred dollars, but no more than that I bet. I'm sure it happens all the time (people paying more for paint than the value of the car). The same...

Cost to change spark plugs in a 2001 GT by Max C. Webster III
I don't know if anyone recalls this, but I complained about an intermittent throttle/timing issue a few months back. Last week, the "intermittent" problem became "all the damn time." I'd start her up, and she'd die. I'd get her to run for a bit, but I'd get to a stop sign, and she'd die. Turns...

Cost to Drive a Mustang (2005) by Max C. Webster III
This post was such a rousing success the last two years that I just had to do it again this year. And because I am a glutton for abuse from Usenetizens, I'm cross-posting this into my "home" newsgroup, alt.music.rush (geekiest post ever, my big ol' butt!). The Most Boring On-Topic Post *Ever*...

Could someone with a 67-68 Fastback take one measurement and snapone picture? by JohnnyK
Almost done with the body here, except a few miscellaneous things. One is, somewhere along the lines, I cut out a 1" tall piece from the 'support' that goes from the trunk floor (about mid wheelwell) up to the roof.. I cut it out at the trunk floor to take out the trunk floors, and cut the bracket...

Could You Accept This As The 2014 Mustang? by NoOp[_2_]
With talk of the Mustang moving away from the current retro look to something with just retro cues, it's not hard to believe the 2014 Mustang will look similar to this "guess". http://www.themustangnews.com/content/2011/06/2014-2015-mustang-renderings-part-i/ What do you vote... thumbs up or...

cowl shake by Itsfrom Click
will adding a spring tower-to-tower brace reduce the cowl shake on my '06 GT convert? if so, should I get an aftermarket part, or the FoMoCo part? (and if it makes a big difference, why the heck isn't it standard). I'm not talking about hard use here.....it's just a toy used for normal driving...

Hey all! Back in Feb I bought a sweet 88 5.0 Lx. I drive it once a week or so and now that its summer I've been putting the top down of course. The top is a couple years old and back towards the back of the top but before it slants down to the window there is a small crack in the canvas. It is...

2 days ago, my intake manifold on my '99 GT cracked. Just now, doing some research online, I found out that on the 16th Ford agreed to a settlement that requires them to pay at least $728 each to owners of particular cars who have had their intake manifold crack. The deadline for getting...
