Front License Tag Installation - Help! by [email protected]
I just moved to MD from MI and am now required to install a front license tag. The Mazda dealer sold me a bracket (for way too much money) that appears to require that I drill two holes in my front bumper. There has to be a better way. Please advise. Thanks.

How to launch the car? by [email protected]
Yes, I am new to standard trannies. (I did live in San Francisco for a year, but that is another story.) Anyway, I am pretty good at getting the car moving now if I do say so myself. Typically what I do is to give it a little gas (something like low 1000s RPM), then ease the clutch pedal up as I...

Question on brake wear by BAK
I just changed all brake pads and had all rotors turned. Went for a test drive and the left front rotor is coloring (slight bluish tint) and showed signs of rubbing, where as the other three show nothing. Is this something to be concerned about, or should I let them wear in, then re-check?

stock stereo, 1992 by [email protected]
As I understand it, the stock stereos on 1991 through 1993 miatas are pretty much the same. Has anyone with one of these years pulled out their stock stero and noticed if there is an auxilary input jack in the back, where one might plug in output from a cd changer, or whatever? If there is any...

Back to the group and question about a 90 Miata by JeffinMS
I subscribed to this group for about 1 1/2 years while I owned a 90 Blue Miata, some may remember I ran over that 10 ton jack that fell off a wrecker while going down I-20, tearing the oil pan off and I got some good advice on repairs from this group. Anyway, I sold my Miata and went to the...

IAP Sensor by [email protected]
Has anyone heard of any benefit from unplugging the IAP sensor and putting a resistor across the two leads on the female side of the plug? Someone on EBay is selling the resistors and offering instructions on how to install it in the Mazda MX5.

Improving the ride of a 2003 Shinsen? by [email protected]
Hi y'all, just got my first Miata (first stick shift car, too) off eBay a few weeks ago. I am having a lot of fun with it as you might imagine, but there is one issue - over rough pavement, the ride can get pretty damn harsh. I mean, there are some bad stretches of interstate around here that...

Ride height varies by BAK
The ride height on my '95 varies slightly in the front left-right, in the rear its 3/8" higher on the right. This is with new KYB AGX shocks, FM springs, FM rear shock mounts, and all new bump stops. Is this acceptable? Is there a way to adjust this?

The '96M is gone - sniff by pws[_1_]
I just watched the shell of the best car that I have ever owned get hauled off. Oh well, even the right quarter panel is going to be cut off and used to fix a '97 STO. We couldn't load it straight onto a trailer without tearing up the section he needs to cut out, so we flipped, lifted and slid...
