Concerned by
Greggerex
Hi Folks,
I was wandering around yesterday and thought I had found a link for a
free Carfax report. It turned out not to be, but what I DID find out
concerned me.
It returned that there were 21 reported entries regarding my car -
since I'm from Newfoundland, Canada I hardly expected my car to...

When you open the center console lid on my 04GT there are two plastic

Consumer Reports Likes The Mustang? WTF? by
NoOp[_2_]
I don't ever remember seeing them rating a Mustang higher than a
"marginal". Seems they're pretty impressed with the current crop.
And them doing a wicked power slide/burnout and talking about
horsepower?! Wow, they must have a new breed of staff...

Control Arm Front Suspension by
remove
Hi,
My 93 LX is has worn out front balljoints. The Haynes and Chilton
Manuals say the entire control arms must be replaced. My local Ford
dealer told me Ford has discontinued the control arms. None of my local
parts houses carry the control arm, however Livermore Perf. online
catalog shows that...

Convert 1984 from V6 to V8? by
Thomas Cameron
Hey all -
This is a long way out since I am not done with my '68 yet, but if I were
to convert a 1984 hatchback from V6 to V8, what all would be involved? I
would assume I'd need:
1) basically a complete drive train - tranny, shaft, rear end
2) heavier suspension all the way around
Past that,...

Convertible hydraulic fluid? by
Jay Honeck
Our convertible top is running in super slow-mo. I looked at the
motor today, and it says "fill with xyz fluid" -- but I couldn't find
any reservoir to fill.
What's the procedure for adding fluid to this beast? What kind of
fluid does it take?
Thanks!

convertible top by
Cobra Boy
This might sound stupid but here goes anyway. I was trying to figure
out what the stock convertible top is made of on a '98 cobra. Is it vinyl,
or canvas, or?
Does anybody have any helpful hints on taking care of it. Your help would be
much appreciated as I am a fanatic about keeping my car looking...
