Damages to Auto Glass by

Damages to Auto Glass
Many types of damage to auto glass, such as small nicks and blemishes,
can be repaired without the need for replacement. Repairing such minor
problems assures that small cracks don't spread, restores the
structural integrity of the glass, and improves visibility...

Damn Kids! by
[email protected][_2_]
You try to raise them right. Try to teach them some values. To be
respectful. To do the right thing. All those years I spent being
involved, the teaching, the mentoring and what's my boy do? He buys
his first car and he buys a Mopar. A Dodge Magnum. Does he get the
standard R/T, so his dad...

DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! Quick sad story. by
66 6F HCS
I had my ass handed to me tonight by a '71 Chevelle SS 350. Not just a small chunk of my ass, but like it got supersized before he handed me the WHOLE DAMN THING!!! Like I was standing still. He looked over and said, "You wanna go?", Me being the moron, knowing that if he's askin' he knows he can...

Dan's KB Odyssey continues by
Dan
Well, I got the car on the dyno today and did some tuning to it. Right
now, with a max of 17 degrees of timing and 15 psi of peak boost, the
car made a best of about 454 hp/404 ft-lbs at the rear wheels,
uncorrected (SAE 558 hp/497 ft-lbs).
There's more power in there and the fuel system appears...

Dan's KB Odyssey takes another step by
Dan
Let me start out by saying thanks to Chris at the Dyno Edge in
Albuquerque: THANKS CHRIS!!! :)
So Chris worked over my tune today to make sure it was safe and see if
I'd eliminated some bugs from last time. Since the last tune I'd moved
the Boost-A-Pump to a more appropriate location in the...

Darth Vader Returns to the Screen by
[email protected][_2_]
But not THAT Darth Vader. I'm talking about Buick's Darth Vader, the
Grand National.
I thought this was interesting. A documentary about the 1980's
Mustang nemesis. And I know anyone who has owned a Fox-body Mustang
can appreciate the GN, after all they were half of Frasier-vs-Ali-type
rivalry...

dashboard noise by
Chap
The sounds comes from the dashboard. According the guys at the Ford store,
they say its coming from the passenger side of the dashboard. It's hard to
describe the sound. Sometimes it sounds like a gurgle or like a plasticy
sound. Doesn't sound metallic and I don't hear it when i'm in...

Data Plate and Driving Impressions - '66 Mustang by
Jeff Mayner
My '68 Coronet had the buildsheet under the rear seat when I purchased the
car. The original owner never knew it was there.
In researching my Data Plate on my '66 Mustang, the first field is obscured
somewhat and the first digit, or letter, is covered by the rivet.
My question(s) is, did Ford...

Date Codes by
Paul Garza
I have a 66 "C" code hardtop that I'm putting a four barrel onto. Though the
car calls for a two barrel, I want to keep the numbers and date codes on the
new parts correct. By the way, the car was made in San Jose, so it has the
Termactor system on it. I have found a '66 manifold with a casting...

Dead Battery by
Gill
I replaced the battery in my 2000GT 5speed because it died and after a
full cycle on my battery charger the green eye stayed red, so to be on
the safe side got a new one.
Now after my car has sat three weeks or so straight, the new battery
would not even light up the dash.
Charged the new battery,...

Dead battery 89 GT - Doh! by
John
I have an 89 GT convertible. Last fall I did some electrical work to the
car. I removed the cheesy alarm the previous owner installed, I moved the
battery to the trunk, I upgraded the alternator (120amp) and I installed a
new radiator and flex-a-lite electric fan. Ever since I installed the...

Dead battery, then smoking wires after jump attempt by
[email protected]
I have a 92 LX 5.0 notchback, and I got into the car today and it
wouldn't start (engine would barely click). Radio and lights looked
fine, but figured it was a weak battery. I tried jumping it but the
engine would turn very slowly and would not start. Tried to jump again
with a car that had a...

dead cylinder on 3.8 by
jeff
My girlfriends 98 Mustang 3.8 has a "miss". If you pull off the #5
plug wire the engine speed does not change, it does for all others.
There's a spark there (you can see it jumping as you pull off the
wire). I've swapped out the wire and plug with no difference. I've also
taken off the...
