2001 Chrysler Sebring by
Even Stephen
My son bought a used Sebring with 100,000 miles three months ago. He tells
me that when he tries to accelerate (25 mph to 35 mph) the engine whines but
the car does not gain much speed. The transmission is filled with fluid.
Assuming the transmission is failing and we can't afford to buy...

2001 Sebring 4 dr by
Even Stephen
The inside front door panels on my son's Sebring seem to be wanting to fall
off when the doors are pulled shut. They are loose but still stay on. Is
there a way I can re-attach them myself? I didn't see any inside mounting
screws that allow them to be removed. Suggestions? Thanks!

PT Cruiser Air Conditioning by
Even Stephen
I have a 2003 PT Limited Edition and the air condenser seems to kick in and
out frequently and cause a a vibration like the engine might be missing. My
'98 Grand Prix has air also and I've never noticed it acting in this manner.
Should I have the PT air unit checked?

Pressure Relief Valve by
Even Stephen
I have a 2003 PT Cruiser. Recently, while stopped for gas, I heard a loud
hiss under the front of my PT and saw a cloud of steam shoot out near the
front. I opened the hood and checked for a hose leak and checked the water
level and all seemed well. Does the PT have a pressure relief valve?

dead battery by
Even Stephen
My son's Sebring sat out for 8 days (NE Ohio) during a winter snow and would
not start. AAA "jump started" it so he could get to work. The battery dead
again and won't accept a jump start again. Could it be just a dead battery
(7 years old) or battery/alternator? Thanks!

PT Cruiser by

I like may PT cruiser but I wonder if there is a comparable auto (with the
high sitting driver's seat and easy load hatchback) that I should look at
before I buy a PT again? Suggestions? Thanks.

I might buy one more PT Cruiser soon and I wonder what happens to the
extended warranty if Chrysler goes "belly-up"?

Rusting Tire Rims by
Even Stephen
My 2003 PT Cruiser has slow air pressure leaks in both front tires. The
tires have only 10,000 miles of wear. The service department has told me
that the rims of the PT tend to corrode and the seals break and air does
seep out (a design flaw). Other than removing the tires and sanding the...

2004 Town and Country. Motor stops while driving by
Everett Cotton
2004 Town and Country died while moving in traffic. I coasted to the
shoulder of the road and, and noticed that the gauges were not
registering motor function and all the other indicators on the dash
were out. I turned the key off ( as it was in the run position ) and
then restarted the engine....

2004 Town and Country Missing on cyl 3 by
Everett Cotton
I have a 2004 3.3 Town and Country with just under 36000 miles. My
wife came in tonight with the engine lite lit. I read the code and it
was PO 303 cylinder 3 misfiring. I know that it could be a plug, plug
wire or something to do with the ignition. Maby fuel system??. Wonder
what the most likely...

External antenna on 2000 grand voyager. by
Evert
I have a 2000 Grand Voyager SE.
Would like to mount an external antenna on it. There is a opening with a
"stopper" on it on top of the passenger side wing.
However I cannot access the underside of this opening from under the hood.
Has anyone got any pointers on how to go about this?
Is there maybe...

why use timing belt? by
exiledtiger
Lowest cost/highest profit is what drives corporations. It's cheaper
to use a belt than a chain, it will last beyond the warranty period,
and most (not all) people who buy new cars will trade it in for
another new car before the timing belt becomes an issue. People who
buy used cars are used to...

1993 Chrysler 3.0L V6 water pump question by
exiledtiger
We've been rebuilding the 3L V6 engine in a 93 Plymouth Duster
(Sundance). While putting it back together, there are 3 threaded holes
close together that I don't seem to have a part for. Standing so
you're looking at the front of the engine, one of the holes is on top
of the water pump, the other...

90 Dodge Spirit - cold start & gas mileage by
exiledtiger
My daughter has a 90 Dodge Spirit, 4 cyl 2.5 L carb engine. It
occasionally has been hard to start when real cold (Wisconsin winter
cold, 10 degrees and lower), the gas mileage is not what I think it
should be (low 20's on mostly highway driving); and it has twice
stopped on her when driving (when...

Illegal Immigration, the Non-Issue of the Week?????????????? by
Expert Humor
The way our politicians rushed to talk about
illegal immigration this week, maybe they thought it
came with a free lunch. They won't do anything about it,
but it will get them some money. The Expert provides
