We Needed A Big Gas Tax by
[email protected]
Read the following article. Makes you wonder why our government didn't
really tax the hell out of fuel during the 90's and use the proceeds to
lower other taxes or to fund quality programs.
---
At nearly $3 a gallon, gasoline prices have become a nightmare for many
Michigan consumers in recent...

Best no BS motor oil/filter comparison? by
HiC
I see opinions of the "I swear by" type all over the map. Anyone know
of a good site that shows the truth about which brand/type of oil &
filter performs the best? Thinking in the passenger car realm.
Thanks

Europe Loves The Mustang by
[email protected]
So maybe you're tired of the dollar being worth about as much as a
Turkish lira - or just fed up with what you perceive as anti-American
sentiment in Europe.
Hate not, patriots. The Euros still want to be us, bad. Why else would
they start an online petition for Ford to bring the new Mustang...

Two kinds of idiots by
RichA
The kind who will NEVER realize that merging on a highway
isn't like moving away from a traffic light and who think
40mph can mix with 60mph without problems.
The other kind seem to think it's "impressive" to do that
thing with their car alarm or door closer that makes the
thing squake, or chirp,...

Idea of the muscle car is dead (Or, why Ford can't sell cars now) by
Rich
The traditional idea of a muscle car was a stripped-down product, with
power. In later years (1970-71) the muscle car version of a line
became almost a luxury vehicle. Now, Ford only knows that kind.
Check out the sticker on a convertible GT in Toronto, Canada.
$45k, plus $3000 insurance (way...

Mustang GT and K&N air charger by
mrsunshine
I would like to know if anyone has experience with the K&N 63 series
aircharger system on a Mustang GT. Is the reported 15 hp boost
there? More importantly, has anyone had challenges with their Ford
warranty as a result of installing this item? Thanks!

Is Ford Running on Empty? by
Grover C. McCoury III
July 16, 2006
By Micheline Maynard
New York Times
Dearborn, Mich.
A fish tank as big as a flat-screen television dominates one wall of Bill Ford's office. Tulips, tired and randomly arranged, droop from vases on nearby tables. A jumble of orchids and tropical plants compete for space behind his...

You never heard one at seven because the rev limiter kicks in at 6,250.

More power to the police in high speed pursuit by
dwight[_1_]
Let's see if I have this right...
Police take off after a black Caddy doing 73mph in a 55mph zone, which leads
to a high speed pursuit in the black Georgia night. The 19 year old yahoo
behind the wheel of the Caddy is obviously of no mind to pull over. After
almost 8 minutes of the chase...

Greedy *******s..... by
Henry[_3_]
Last year I put my name on a waiting list for a GT500
with an out of town dealer. I was number nine on the list.
I figured if I could get a brand new reliable Mustang with
500 hp for around 45K I might go for it. After several inquiries
and many months, I finally received an email stating that...
