Once again, LCD Screens for Sim Racing by [email protected]
Hi, I'm about to get a new wide lcd screen (my first own one), but I have no idea which brand / model to get. The minimum requirements are 1680x1050 native resolution (as my laptop) and 5ms response time (fast enough for GTR/GTR2). There is no need for speakers or DVI input, as I have speakers...

The Regulars are returning to our traditional Thursday night slot for their upcoming SEVENTEENTH season although 15 minutes earlier (7:15EST) then in the past. The league runs two divisions using similar tracks between GPL and Rfactor on alternating weeks: The GPL division will be for FV cars (F2...

iHave sinned! [Episode 23, in which Andrew McP iRents more cr*p] by Andrew MacPherson[_2_]
Regular viewers will be familiar with the schizoid adventures of Andrew McP in iRacing-land. You will be sick and tired or reading about his whiney, in-out, in-out (shake it all about the track) trips to the virtual world where nothing is free except the speech in the forums... well, sort of. It's...

NR2003 Loose web setups by Charles F. Castor Jr.
Why is it that the setups I get on the web are always so loose? I have to add a lot of front bias to get around the track. Thanks Charlie

rFactor:new track. Birmingham by Dave Henrie
The US Pits have the first links to a wonderful new track. Orignally a Motorcycle test track, it has been updated and is used for several sports car series as well. The Rolex Grand Am series is probably the biggest that schedules there now. Great fun, watch out for the Spiders and Ants. dave...

GTR: You must be kidding me by graycat
I just tried the GTR v2 demo and man what a piece of junk! It would not load properly and when it did it would not calibrate my wheel. What I did manage to see looked like a very bad arcade game. As far as I can tell, GPL is STILL the best. What a disappointment. If I am missing something, someone...

Burnout PCE on a newer system by foghat
I still have this but it won't run on my newer system: Athalon 1900+ using an ATI graphics card. Short of dragging out my old setup, is there any way for me to play this game? Probaly not since it's a DOS game that uses a Voodoo card. But I'll ask anyway. Thanks, foghat

I installed the 330 mod and the sound overwrote the Winston sound as well. Can anyone tell me how to keep the original sound in WC and the Ferrari sounds in the 330 mod?

rF2: The quest for new ways to be miserable continues! by Andrew MacPherson[_2_]
Graphics: it's like a modding team took rF1 to the edges of what it was capable of. Good, if you were expecting a much improved rF1, but DX9 is capable of much better. The programmers here... well, they've tried their best, but unfortunately sometimes your best isn't really good enough. I had the...
