98 E36 316 Overheating by
MikeyDugg
Hi folks,
I recently bought a 98 316 estate, with 58k (not sure if genuine) miles
on it. On the drive home (200 miles) it overheated after 150 miles.
Upon refilling the coolant, the heaters didn't work (air con), which I
subsequently foung out meant I had most likely airlocked the water
cooling...

Engine Management Light by
steve
I have a 2 year old 330 Clubsport which I have had for a month now. This
morning, the engine management light came on when I started it, and would
not go out. When idle, the car is very choppy and does not tick over
smoothly. When driving, I don't feel like I have all the power I used to
have, and...

Does anyone know if the 'boing' tone on startup can be changed, and can the

RAFAL KRAWCZYK
Hi,
I've been looking for a new BMW to buy and managed to get a good deal on the

look out for in this car and what kind of problems am I most likely to
experience. I had a 1997 528 and it was a marbel. Nothing ever had to...

M3 and oil by
John E Yurkon
I have 4K some miles on my M3 now. The instrument cluster say's I'll need
service in about 11,000 miles. When I check the dip stick the oil looks
like coal tar. Well, not that thick but that black. I hate to think what
it will look like if I wait until it tells me to change the oil. It...

N Williamson
Hi,
I have a '92 525, 5spd with an electronic speedometer that is going
spastic. It started a year ago as a once in a while thing and has
gradually gotten worse. The car does not have a limited slip
differential. I've owned it since new and had all the services done so
it is a well maintained...

E34 vague on-center? by
Joseph Santaniello
Hi Everyone,
I just bought a '90 520i. I've never driven another E34 so I'm not sure
how they are "supposed" to feel. I have a 97 E36 that fells A LOT better
on center. Much more precise. My E34 is currently on studded snow tires
so I don't know how much that contributes to the lack of feel on...
