Code P0056 - '01 LW300 by Oppie
SES light came on the other day and I did the usual first try of pulling the fuse to reset the controller. I had gotten gas the night before and it was plausible that this was a problem. No good, Engine started and light stayed off but came on again at next engine start. Borrowed a Snap-On...

Millions Of Dollars For Your Business by Fair Loophole
The IRS Looks At You and Your Company As Two Different Entities. Why Don't Creditors? Think about that for a second...why do credit grantors take a look at personal credit scores and personal credit histories, when they're actually approving YOUR COMPANY for credit and financing? Can your...

98 Saturn SL1 - runs poorly during wet weather by mikewvdos
I have a 98 Saturn SL1 which has an odd problem. When the weather is nice (ie: hot/warm, no rain), then it runs fine. However, as soon as it gets colder, and especially when it's cold & rainy, it runs very poorly. Acceleration is difficult & jerky, and one can clearly hear that the engine is...

97 SCII water pump -- replacement thumbnail sketch ? by jimhigh66
My daughters 97 SCII (DHOC) is leaking some antifreeze and I suspect it's the water pump (original, 155K miles). I've replaced a number of water pumps in the last 50 years but this one looks it could be a pain because of clearances. Could someone give me the basics of replacement? Anyone know...

04 ION front bushing problems? by cei/pwm
I have an 04 Ion 3 with just over 2000 miles on it, a clunking in the front end began about 300 miles ago and has grown steadily worse. The car is at the dealer now and the service tech mentioned a bushing problem with some Ions. Has any one else heard of this and if so what info can you...

rough idle question by Alan
I get rough idling on my 95 SC2 when I shift into reverse. It's a loud vibrating sound. In park, it's rough also but quiets down after its warmed up. In neutral and drive, it's idles ok and car drives fine. Tuned up about 30k ago so do I need another tune-up or something?

Any Saturn Vue / Dog owners? by Phil Marshall[_1_]
Hi: Proud owner of a new '06 Vue. Had it about two weeks now, and love it. Just one thing that I'm hoping that some has a solution for. We have a 12 year old Lab dog. We want her to travel with us in the back seat area. But I don't want to to try jumping up/down from the seat to the ground. Too...

97 SC2 starts then dies by Matthew Fries
About a week after I brought my 97 SC2 into the dealer for the 84K maintenance, I start to notice this: When starting, the starter cranks normally, and the engine fires, but then the engine dies when the RPMs should fall to idle. It happens only after the engine has been running for at least...

Fuel hose busted - and fixed! :) by Philip Nasadowski
Well, I got the new hose from saturn and decided to just stick it in there tonight. Amazingly, you can in fact do this without jacking the car up. You *do* need the hose popper tool and a new clip if yours had a clip on the end. The brackets drop semi easy with a 10mm deep socket to remove...

Need "roof container solution" for camping with SW2 wagon by Ouroboros_Rex
Hi all, I am looking around for a stowable (probably fabric or vinyl?) container I can mount on top of my '96 SW2 wagon to carry camping gear on long drives. It needs to be waterproof, not just resistant, and something like 15 cubic feet. It needs to be stowable because I have nowhere to store...

I just bought a '93 SL1 and the starter took a crap on me. I crawled under it today and it looks like a job. I'd rather pay someone but im hard headed and would like to do it my self. I'm very mechanically inclined but i've never messed with a saturn before and was just lookin for a few pointers...
