Where are you and your Miata? by
Chris D'Agnolo
Well, Pat (PWS) has mentioned a couple of times that only a small handful of
folks hang out on this group these days. While I'm not usually inclined to
try to prove him wrong, on this particular issue, I would love to. Would
everyone who see's this message, please reply with CITY, STATE (and...

turn signal sounder by
[email protected]
I have a 2004 M5 mazdaspeed. The car is great except that the steering
wheel hides the turn indicators from my line of sight. Also, the
turn indicator sound is so low that I can not hear it with the top
down.
Does anyone know of an indicator light or sounder that I can mount
onto this car so...

Smoke after spark plug change by
Han08
Hi,
First post so if I waffle, bear with me! We have just had our spark plugs
changed and she drove back fine from the garage but on starting her this
morning, plumes of smoke bellowed from the exhaust, smelt a little like
something was burning. We also just changed the oil and filter the...

It's ALIVE! by
XS11E[_1_]
I'm amazed! I mail ordered a new battery for the 1992 Mazda Miata
knowing it would be almost impossible for me to install with arthritis
making both hands pretty non-functional but... no problem!
Fortunately, it's a small battery and not very heavy.
All went smoothly and I even had my letter...

1997 P0300 weirdness by
Hal
All - my 1997 with 109k on the clock has developed an annoying habit
of flashing the CEL at highway speeds recently. I never lose any
power, and the car runs fine throughout the RPM band.
I found a TSB regarding this issue and checked the gap between the CKP
and the crank sensor plate. It was out...

Change Instrument Panel Light? by
Arye
Does anyone know -- Is there a way to replace a lightbulb in the
instrument cluster of a 1990 Miata without pulling out the entire
instrument panel?

Just for Fun by
Chris D'Agnolo[_2_]
Just to stir the pot a little, I'd love to hear how many Miatas folks have
owned and approximately how many miles they have put on those Miatas.
To start it off I can say that I've owned 2.
- 1992 SE Black and Tan (put ~75k on it over ~5 yrs) and currently
- 1999 Base model Black / Black / Black...

92 miata 1.6 engine coolant drain plug by
[email protected]
So, really old thread, but over the years I've learned a few things about my '91 - take with a grain of salt because I have a water cooled turbocharger hanging on the side of the engine.
When I drain my '91, I get almost 6 quarts out the radiator drain plug, as far as I can tell, if you don't tilt...

215/40-R16 Yokohama S.Drive tires by

on 16x7 or 16x8 rims.
The tires are 19 lbs., and I'm looking for rims that weigh less than 15
lbs--preferably less than 14.
Why the S.Drives? They seem very well regarded as all-around performance
tires, but are rated particularly well in wet traction...

Group dead? by
XS11E[_1_]
Can someone play "Taps" over it please?
I blame Mazda, the first two versions of the Miata were more than cars,
they were almost like family pets, not always well behaved but lovable!
The third generation is a MUCH better car but.. a car amd nothing more
than a car. <SIGH>
