Glue for Bezels? by
Jim M
Hi,
I am still restoring my '77 and have just received a set of bezels to go
around the rear hatches of my Vette (battery box, rear storage compartments
etc.). I am going to be attaching these plastic things to the existing
carpet. Can anyone recommend a glue for this?. Thanks...Jim

Glue For Lettering? by
Brian[_30_]
The "V" in CORVETTE on the back of my C5 fell off. Just wondering if
there is a certain type of glue I should use to put it back on. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

GM again headed for bankruptcy by

No surprise here. Perhaps if they could build a Corvette without
reliability problems, GM would not be such a laughingstock.

GM airbag crash data black box......you need to know this. by
LoganDiagnostic
GM and Saturn cars record crash data. You can often get the last 5 seconds
of vehicle data. Dealers are not able to collect the crash data. You need
the Vetronix CDR, it can be seen here-
http://www.airbagcrash.com
Any questions about the crash data, black boxes etc. We will try to
answer.

GM and Ford bomb in CU ratings by

No surprise here. Thanks to the US gov bailout, all the lazy unions workers
are still on the job. They should have been fired and replaced with non
union workers. Those folks really want to work and do a good...

GM and Unions by

GM is out of BK. Did they renegotiate any union contracts?
I haven't heard of any and I thought that was what they were going to do.

One of GM's issues is to minimize 'franchise'
buyouts (onerous in California).
So, where to best merchandise Corvette?
How about positioning it for sale by selected

for the Jap cars and Dr Z...never a GM ad...how do they expect to unload

GM bumps price of 2010 Corvette ZR1 up $2,910 to $107,830 by
notlove
Supercar performance from a 638hp supercharged V8 engine, carbon fiber bodywork and sharp styling should all add up to a price tag in the $200,000+ range if you look to the competition, but the Corvette ZR1's unmatched value put its sticker price at just $104,920 for 2009. That price will be going...

GM crisis ... and your thoughts buying a new Corvette now by
drb[_2_]
Seriously is it wise to buy a new Corvette now in the face of this
crisis? I'm not talking how good the deals are and I don't mean ANY
disrespect for the Corvette owners or such especially the ones who
have bought a new one recently. I realize no one has a crystal ball
to predict the future with...

GM Dealers Closing/Chicago by
Speaker of the Truth[_3_]
There is a ****load of GM dealers going bye bye. Only 1 dealer I know will
be left on the southern 1/2 of Chicago. There won't be many dealers left
east of 294 and north 0f 80-294.. Not sure about the northside. GM really
did have a slow and quiet retreat from inner city Chicago and close in...

GM email Promo by

Big print: email offer for 0% apr for 60 months
But, it's for an '08.
What GM is missing here is that interest rates
are zilch right now. (And most Corvette buyers
know that!)

I think the Vette would be a much better car if GM sold the marque to
Toyota.

GM Exects a bunch of schmucks by

They have sold all their stocks and bailed out on their company.

I only own a 64 Vette. I wouldn't own a newer GM car if they gave one to
me.

GM lose money on the Corvette? by
[email protected]
A friend of mine told me that GM does not make money with Corvette
sales, but that they continue to make the car just because it's
tradition boosts their image or whatever. Is this true? I didn't
know GM was in that bad of shape.
