5000 water deflector by
bgc
Does anyone know if someone other than Audi makes and sells the
plastic cover that is at the base of the windshield that covers the
fan blower, wiper linkage etc. It's very thin vacuum formed plastic
and i can't see paying $90 from the dealer if i can get it cheaper
someplace else.
Thanks

Power Steering Hoses by
Simon
Sigh,
It seems that my A4 has developed a leak in the power steering hoses.
My car is an A4 1.8T right hand drive manufactured in September 2000.
The car is now at 71,000 Kilometers.
Q1: Can these leaks be repaired or do I have to change the hoses?
Q2: If I have to change the hoses can I use a...

SAPO
I had my A4 2002 with nav plus radio and 6cds, for almost two years and in
that time the radio reception on FM has gotten worse to the point of local
stations being bearly listenable and national stations dissapearing into to
absolute noise. Now, just the local radio station can be syntonised....

Cam belt break down on A4 - DON'T BUY AUDI ANYMORE !!! by
John Smith
Audi Germany says the cam belt needs replacing at 120,000 KM. Well, our A4
belt broke down at 113,000 and caused for thousands of dollars damage. Audi
New Zealand (who serviced teh car throughout its lifetime) is now saying
that 100,000 KM is considered HIGH MILEAGE for an Audi and doesn't want...

Which ECU for a 2001 S4? by
GMan
Hey everyone,
Which ECU would you recommend purchasing? APR, GIAC, MTM, etc. Also which
throttle body boot (or go with bipipe upgrade) and diverter valves would you
get as upgrades? Thanks.

Tire fitment by
Mark Semon
I have an '01 A6 2.7t. It has the standard 16" rims. I am considering
17x7.5 AVUS wheels. What would be the appropriate tire fitment? In
looking at the '04 models, 235/45 appears to be the common tire on the
'04 A6's.

Car washing products by
Cam Newton
Not Audi specific but I am conflicted (I don't buy the BS) about car
washing products.
The question is: what is so special and different about the store
bought car wash products versus dish soap?
I keep hearing about how 'harsh' the dish soap is but comparing
cooking muck to road muck, I know the...

Too good to be true deal on an A4? by
Andreas Pagel
I'm in the UK and have seen an A4 2.4 SE advertised for £4995, 1999 V-reg.
According to Parkers, this car should retail for £8250 from a dealer. It
has done 104000 miles, but that shouldn't lower the price below £7000
should it?
Does this sound too good to be true? Anything I should ask or look...

'84 Audi 4000s Quattro brake issues, balancing by
ItJstAGame
Hi,
I've had problems with this for a while, in the mean time I've been
driving my other car, but a couple years ago I replaced the disc pads
on all 4 wheels of my vehicle. I noticed the front brakes dragging
horribly and the rears seemingly getting no fluid. After some
investigation (on and off...
