Why have I never heard of cam seal leaks till my 2001(A4 Quattro) 2.8 at 60k? I've owned everthing from GM-Asian-European. What is the fix? Big dollars at the dealer? Otherwise, what a great car to drive. Only thing that can beat a rear wheel drive benz. TIA.

Help!! I need to change the o/s/f indicator bulb on my 2002 A4 18.T. What a nightmare! How can a car manufacturer make bulb replacement so difficult. Looking at the problem, I think I need to remove the whole headlamp assembly. Is this so, or is there a simpler way?

I have a 2.0 1989 audi 80, it seams to fire fine when cold/warm, but if you have been driving in town and then stop for a minute it refuses to start the engine, it wont even crank probably only about 2-3 seconds worth and then nothing, but leave it for 5mins and it will start agian Any advice?

Rick, Just a quick question. Did you drive the 4.2 before you settled on the 3.2? Reason is, I am going to trade in my 2001 A6 2.7T, and so far have driven only the 4.2, which, I might say, handles and drives fantastic. Don't know whether or not the 5-7 thousand dollar difference is worth it to go...

What's the story with the '05 A6 Avant? It's not mentioned on the Audi USA web page. The Allroad is, but they don't appeal to me at all. Is it just later than the other models? Or does Audi think that the Allroad is the only wagon they need? Bob

Ugh.. the new A4 is beautiful! I was planning to hold on to my '99 TT for one more year, but it's getting hard to resist the temptation of a new A4 Avant. Still, the price is rather steep (44k euros / 55k us$ for the 2.0T, even without leather and extras) and may keep me from buying one too...
