JTD by
John
going to look at a 2.4 JTD on X with 73k miles. Having not owned an Alfa
before - anything in particular I should be focusing on??
Have read up on them, engines seem fairly solid, not sure about everything
else on Alfas though, depends on your luck with these?

I own this, probably the oldest Giulietta in Croatia. The registration
passed few weeks ago. I would like to sell it for the best offer.

Alfa servicing -Glasgow by
arwmarshall
I've just bought a 156 V6 with a full 'dealer' service history. As the
words Alfa and 'dealer' in this part of the world appear to add up to
either Reg Vardy, or Arnold Clark, I am fairly keen to locate an
slightly more friendly, reliable, knowledgeable (and honest) local
Serviceman. Does anyone...

Sold to the man at the back... by
Domestos
My 2003 156 1.9JTD has finally sold. Sad to see it go, its been a great car.
Its taken the great trip abroad, and become an export (to N.ireland), where
a new buyer will lovingly care for it...

Selenia Racing oil by
GT
Does I really need the Selenia Racing oil in the 2.0 JTS engine or is normal
10w40 (GTX or whatever) OK? The manual says Selenia Racing 10w60, but the
only place I can get oil of that weight is the Alfa garage and hard for me
to get to during working hours. On top of that, it is significantly...

156 Windscreen washer problems by
Mitch
I have tried to search on google for this problem, but google seems to be
having problems too, so apologies if this is a well posted problem.
I have a 156 registered in 2000. It has headlamp washers. When I try to
wash the screen I can hear the motor but there is no water from the jets.
If I turn...

147 Third year warranty by
Tony Rickard
My wife's 147 2.0TS has started to creak/squeak when turning left.
Firstly is this a common 147 issue and what is it likely to be?
Secondly it is in the third year Alfacare warranty period. The local
dealer told my wife they would charge nearly £70 to diagnose the problem
then the actual work may...

Funds for whatever, whenever! by
D.S.
This is a paypal fund raising pyramid program. I'm not going to provide
you with any outlandish claims of people receiving $X amount of funds in
Y days. Have faith and this will work. All you have to lose is $7.50
and a bit of your time.
This pyramid scheme works by paying $1.50 to 5 people on...

Corrosion on Alloys.....any repair possible? by
156 SP3
My 156 telephone dial alloys are beginning to corrode in a few places, and
now it's becoming quite noticeable.
Has anyone tried the repair kits sold in Halfords?? Any good?
How much does it cost to get a wheel refurbished professionally - is it
worth it, or is it cheaper to buy some second hand...

Rain sensors? by
Stephen Poley
Anyone got any experience of rain sensors? (on Alfas or otherwise). Last
time I looked at them I got the impression they were unreliable
gimmicks, but that was quite a while ago.

75 TSpark Alternator belt. by
SteveH
I can see why my local mechanic didn't bother to re-tension the belt
now.....
What an absolute *bitch* of a job.
It's not that it's a tricky job to do, it's just the access involves
contorting a ratchet / socket around the distributor, PAS pump and air
intake from one side whilst trying to hold a...
