1964 pedal cluster by
[email protected][_1_]
All,
Have a question regarding the pedal cluster on a 1964 beetle. I have
the pedal, pad, accelerator cable and the 'repair kit'. Kid who owns
the bug is tired of the roller pedal some previous owner installed, so
we're going to put it back to stock.
The repair kit I found he...

1965 Bug disc brakes by
Terry[_4_]
Does anyone know of anybody that offers a front disc brake kit for a
pre-66' bug with the king pin type front end ? I have had no luck
finding one and I am told that the ball joint type front end will not
bolt in to a 65' model bug either. Any clues or help would be
appreciated...........

1966 Beetle AM Radio Question by
Roy
Hi! I am the new owner of a '66 Beetle with the stock AM radio, which
does not work at the momnent. The Beetle was converted to 12 volt and
I assume the radio is 6. Is there a way to get the stock radio to
work? Is there a voltage regulator or some such gizmo that I could
wire up? Evenutally...

1966 Beetle Ball Joints by
Patrick
I recently acquired a 1966 Bug in Denver from my daughter and drove it back
to Atlanta with no problems. She is a little vague about what services has
been done to it as she had it sitting for the last two years because of
starter problems. That's been fixed. Now I'm wondering if there is a way...

1966 Beetle Suspension Improvement by
Roy
Hi. My '66 Beetle rides like crap. The shocks are no doubt toast--for
all I know they could be the originals --so I'm going to be replacing
them. But is there anything else I should consider to improve the ride,
espcially in the rear end department?
Thanks in advance.

1966 Beetle Tire Options? by
[email protected]
I know this has been covered in the past, but wanted to get a
clarification.
I'm looking for white wall radials for my 66, but they are outrageous
$$. Local shop has a set of four white walls they can install for
$250, but they are 205/70/15. Will these fit?
If they won't or if you all advise...

1966 wiper motor crapped out by
[email protected]
I've had my '66 Beetle for a month now and one of the few things which
as worked right is the wiper motor. I replaced the blades and
tightened up one of the arms the other day -- and voila, they stopped
working. I turn the switch, and they twitch just barely so I know i
have power too them. But...

1967 Beetle spec? by
Gareth Edwards
Could someone put my mind at rest and tell me what sort of body should the
1967 Beetle have (UK model)?
Should it have a long bonnet with upright headlamps, and a short engine lid?
I have owned my 1967 Bug for over four years, and I know the previous owner
fitted fibreglass wings with the...

1967 Body on a 1970 IRS pan by
Cal-Look
I would like to put a 67 body I have onto a 70 irs pan. From what I
understand, other than the DMV red tape, there is just one modification
needed to the rear body mount. Is this true and does anyone know of a web
site that shows the modifications to the rear mounts?

1967 Vert Pan Replacement by
joe
I am new to restoration but have heard not all Brazilian pan halves
are created equally. Of course, I will use German pans if I can find
them but am still trying to locate a nice rust free set. I have read
that some Brazilian halves tend to fit better than others. I thought
there was one plant...
