It's that time of year again by
Tom in Missouri
Time to drive those Corvettes, park them far inland, and buy plywood.
You guys down in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, they just don't give you
a break, do they?

lib
1) What is the current wisdom on dealing with carb, fuel pump, master
cylinder, etc. after long sit? Should items with gaskets, seals, etc. be
replaced or kitted if available?
2) Should I consider replacing the rubber cushions in the frame and body
mounts if they appear to be intact, or should I...

My first vette and want to replace the dash as it looks awful with the

I've ordered the overlay from Eckler's as I haven't the money for new, now
realizing I should have posted here for any pro/cons of such an item. Also

Thanks in advance.

2005 odd shifting issue for fuel efficiency? by
Shagster
My dad just bought a 2005 Corvette w/manual transmission.. He was telling
me about some type of "fuel efficiency" setting that sometimes forces him to
switch between certain gears... For example, sometimes he cannot switch
from 1st to 2nd... it forces him into 4th for fuel efficiency??

96 lt4 value long terv vs new c5 please your opinion by
rebco10
I am looking at a 99 c5 that I really like. I just cant decide to keep
or sell the 96. It is my third c4.
The c4 value is around 20K. Dont harass me about the value. It is what
I believe. The c5 is around $25K.
If the c4 does not get used, I don't think it will drop into the 10-11K
range like...
