Dodge Carvan 02 tansmission oil leaking by
jean
Hello,
I think it is transmission oil that is located under the front of the van on
the driver's side.
I have 66 000km and never replaced the transmission oil since the van was
new.
Is it the cause that the box located where I said is leaking, like it is all
wet of oil, but not
really leaking...

94 Intrepid 3.5L spark plugs - aarghhh by
Hmmm...
A couple silicone rubber boots stuck to the plugs when I pulled the plug
wires out. What a pain to dig them out. Now there are 2 connections that
do not have these silicone boots that fit directly over the plugs. The
protective boots on top of the plug hole are still intact. Will there be...

The Last Really Good Chrysler Product by
Ted Azito
My uncle was over at the house bitching about Chrysler again. He's
never owned anything but Chryslers for fifty years. He buys them as
demo's or used at a year old, drives them into the ground, puts an ad
in the paper for the dead car a s a mechanic's special, and when they
don't sell for a couple...

Door locks - Voyager/Caravan by
BeeP
Two questions:
1. Trying to get power door locks to work.
Checked switches with a meter - OK. Not sure of the motors, but
seems likelihood of both failing is low.
But I cannot verify power to the switches. Based on testing the
terminals on the switches, power seems to be via the red wire...

94 Concorde unpredictable starting by
Dave
I have a 94 Concorde (130K miles) with the small V-6. It always starts and
then runs well but the starting goes anything from an instantaneous start to
having to crank for up to 3-5 seconds. I just installed new plug and wires
which had no effect. I do get an occasional odor of raw gasoline...

Stratus Engine Swap? by
Ed Dreistadt
I have a '95 Stratus with 186,000 miles and a very tired 2.0L coupled
to a 5-speed.
Anyone know how much of a hassel it would be to put a 2.4L in its
place while keeping the 5-speed? This combo wasn't offered when I
bought the car back in '95, but sure would be a lot more fun than the
2.0.
I'm...

I have an '02 Dodge Grand Caravan with 39K. While driving on the
freeway last week, my temp, gas, and speedometer bottommed out. The
digital odometer and digital gear reading went blank. Also, my turn
signals did not work. However, the dashboard and instrument cluster
lights are intact.

Is My Mechanic Treating Me Fairly - Is This His Problem or Mine? by
mwdcanuck
I have a lovely 1990 Chrysler New Yorker in very good condition with
80,000 original miles. In April of this year it had approx. 65,000
miles and I had to have the automatic transmission completely rebuilt
for about $2600.(canadian), but the work was done in California. The

Janne S Sweden
Today i discovered that i by pressing the throttle several times could
get the car to accelerate fully without bacfiring in the aircleaner.
It worked fine several times. If i press the trottle only one time it
