Bad Boy (Alfa RZ Zagato Spider) by

check this out. Looks rather BMW-esque to me, in a mad mofo sort of way:

jurassicpals

only 40.000 miles, will not deliver full performance, hard to get it to
rev in top gear, running on a light or trailing throttle it’s a bit
better, but put the car under full throttle or load and it’s just as

V6 spiders rare? by
Carl Farrington
There're only like 10 v6 Spiders on autotrader.
Is it 'cause the V6 wasn't introduced to the Spider until 2001 or something?

Early GTV: Buying Advice by
Simon C
Hi all
I am looking to buy a late 60's/early 70's GTV (1750 or 2000) and would
appreciate some buying advice/tips.
I am not that mechanically-minded, so would like to know what should I look
for in a car of that age and type.
I have a seen a couple on the internet starting from early GBP4000...

Recommendations: UK insurers by
John Gallagher
Afternoon all!
Hurtling towards insurance renewal time for my GTV TS and wondering if
anyone has any recommendations for insurers/brokers who aren't too happy to
rip you off on a group 17 car ;-)
Current insurer won't say how much to renew yet, only that it'll "... be
into 4 figures..." which was...

UK 147 Fuse placement by
Ash
Hi,
I've just looked at the fuses under the dash and they according to the
handbook, they all seem out of place....(wrong fuse ratings in each socket).
Is this anything to do with a UK car and a non-UK handbook ?
I also found that the two fastening screws are to small....they go straight
threw...

Alfa 164 make me an offer by
Steve A
I have just brought a 166 and my old 164 TS has to go. It is a J reg
with 6 months MOT left on it. It has 133K on the clock. Is a good
runner for the age but need one or two bit and pieces sorting.
Horn not working - probably fuse
Left front indicator - just a bulb
Superficial dent on passenger...

Bubbly Wheels by
Halmyre
My 3 and a half year old 156 Veloce wheels (telephone dial type) are
starting to show signs of bubbling in places, no doubt due to not
cleaning them properly (hangs head in shame). Is it worth getting them
stripped and refurbished, or will this just speed up the deterioration?

Dear god.... by
Ypnos
....some b**tard parked his car near my drive in such a way that the only
thing sticking out was his tow bar. And what do I do? What any normal person
would do, reverse out of my drive. In the process, the rear left bumper has
now been torn in half!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, I couldn't see the tow bar...

Replacent Dash Lights by
Mr Flipflops
Hey guys
Just got me a nice new (to me) 2000 X 156 2.5 V6. Anyway, it's pretty much
a peach FASH example except for a warped rear disc and the rear fog
dashboard indicator not working, is it a dash out job? Expensive? I ask as
I happened to ask the dealer how much a brake disc was for the back...

155 Manual - Taken Down due to insane demand! by
SteveH
Unfortunately, I'm no longer in a position to host this..... my
bandwidth has been caned in a big way by the large number of requests
I've had for it.
If anyone is in the position to host a fairly high-traffic 650mb
download give me a shout.
Cheers,

Another Rear Bumper 156 by
CGB
I've recently had a mild shunt from behind.
The damage *seems* superficial - a small chip & a nice faint imprint of
the offending bumper.
If the inside of the boot looks OK, and the boot still opens & shuts as
it did before, is that all I need to look for? Is there compressable
foam that means the...

replacement key by
NC
All,
Just bought a used 156, 1999. However, the spare key does not work - the
remote central locking button is broken. How much can I expect to pay
for a replacement key in the UK ?

GT by
SteveO
As a regular owner of VW's, Audis and Mercs i really do appreciate
reliability. I have never owned an ALfa before but have heard the unreliable
stories. However, the 1.9 Diesel GT looks an outstanding car. Has anyone got
experience of this yet or is it too new?

Alfa 146 1.4 T.Spark Emissions by
Mooey
Hi Lads/Ladies
Have been looking for a while for a decent forum with Alfa users and my
mate in Portsmouth pointed me here.
I need some help/advice. I have a 2000 146 that has recently failed its
NCT due to emissions. I have spoke to multiple dealers and supplied the
emissions results as below but...
