Airbag Light by RonP
Hello, need some help. Have a 97 SC2 and had it up for sale. Daughter left the windows open and we got a deluge rainstorm overnight and the next day, it had three to four inches of water inside. To make matters worse, we had a flight several hours later out of the country so the car was...

Airbag light problem by Gabe
I have an 01 LW300, where SOMETIMES the red Air Bag light goes on and stays on, usually with the yellow Service light. It is an intermittant problem, when it goes on it stays on until the engine is off. Then next time, it might not go on again, nor again for the next few trips. Anyway, today...

All lights dimming frequently when engine is running. Saturn SL1 1999..HELP. by pekerhed
I have a 1999 Saturn SL1. My headlights and dashboard lights dim often while in IDLE. Recently the problem has progressed while in movement. It seems that when I shift, the dimming will also occur. When I accelerate, they light up like normal. I also observed that when the "dimming" occurs, the...

All the warning lights stayed on. by Fred[_14_]
It was reported today by the wife that when she went to start the Saturn, it started fine, but all the warning lights stayed on. She then put it in reverse and it would not go. Turning it back off and then on restored it back to normal. Has anyone seen anything like this? I suppose its a connector...

Alloys and bad roads dont mix by marx404
I'm getting to really hate Saturn Alloy rims. My '94 and '02 had slightly warped rims that had to be road-force balanced to keep the ride perfectly smooth, a driving need that I'm un-conditional about. Those rims were warped by the previous owners, I bought the cars used. Thought now that I have...

Almost non-existent heat by Wayne[_4_]
I recently purchased a 99 Saturn SL 5spd SOHC from a private owner. I am having problems with the heater. I can drive 25 miles and still have almost no heat. It takes forever to clear a frosty windshield. The previous owner said he flushed the cooling system and put in a lower thermostat. ...

Almost stall - 94 SL2 by Tim
I have a 94 SL2 with 245000 on her and she still runs great except for one little problem that has me a little stumped. When coming to any stop but particularly from higher speeds, when I push in the clutch, my rpm plummets to well below 1000, almost stalls, sometimes does stall, then bounces back...

Alternator is gone-need some advice by MR
I have a 97 SL1 and the alternator just died after 160k miles. Can't get anything that will last anymore.<g> I took a quick look and it looks like the power steering pump has to come off to get to the alternator or either you have to pull the engine. Just kidding. Also looks like the pulley has...

alternator question by dugb
Hi, I have a 92 sl2 with 85,000 miles. The alternator was replaced the first time at 60,000 miles and went again at 70,000 and again at 85,000. I know this subject has been reported many times on this news group but I have yet to see any solutions. Saturn had a recall (97-t-22)in June of 97...
