89 Vette runs rough when restarted by Lee & Mary Ogden
My vette runs great when it's first started, gas mileage is good. When I shut it off, and restart it, it runs rough and has no power, and the gas mileage is cut in half. We replaced the coil, and distributor cap, and same thing. Lee

Z06 Rear Axle Noise by Lee C. Carpenter
I purchased a new '08 Z06 Monday with 11 miles on it. I've notice that when making a right turn from a stop I get axle noise. It seems to be on the passenger side. Kind of a low "growl" that lasts until I straighten the car out. It doesn't do it at all when starting out straight or turning left....

I have found the rear spring bolts on the differential mount broken off. I managed to get the rear two out without a problem. This is a 1980 model and their are three bolts. The third is the one that would not come out ...so I began to drill it out figuring I could retap the hole to a larger size...
