any cops still using the Crown Victoria ? by
[email protected]
There was an article in a motoring magazine last year claiming that 200
Crown Vics were still in service, having not done enough miles to be
retired. But occasionally one sees a story on the evening news, the cop
car is a Panther. I suppose there will be a big hoo-ha when the very last one
goes.

Used car dealers. by

Used car dealers didn't want to fix deadly defects, so they wrote a law to avoid it. www.blacklistednews.com/article/72113/used-car-dealers-didnt-want-to-fix-deadly-defects-so-they-wrote-a-law-to-avoid.html https://outline.com/DRPRCa

Idler pulley squeeks, lubricate or replace? by
[email protected]
My 94 Saturn SL2 squeels when first started, and may be getting worse. Likeliest guess is the idler pulley bearings. It's not an easy replacement, going through the wheel well. Should I be able to get away with just lubricating it? With what?

Chevy 2.2 Timing chain by
Bob Urz
I was going down the road at about 45 in my 1996 S10 when it just quit

here the compression strokes. Would not fire at all.
I am assuming the timing chain...

Lucky it hit another mine truck. If one of these reversed onto a car, it would
crush it flat as a pancake and keep going.

Engine run time to keep battery charged by
Tom Del Rosso[_5_]
If you turn over an engine periodically to keep it charged, how long do
you run it to make up for the charge lost in starting?
In this case it's my neighbor's 87 Buick Regal while he's in the
hospital.
