some guy that told me that they have a bad problem with breaking
timing chains.
being that I only paid $1000.00 for it I am not to concerned if I have
to replace it but I was just wondering if any one knows about this
problem ( if...

2004 Saturn with CD/MP3 Player - Is it possible to input audio? by
Ken R
Attention car stereo experts!
On long trips, I like to use my laptop as a DVD player to entertain the
kids. Because the volume on my laptop was inadequate, we used to connect
the headphone jack of the laptop to the cassette player in the car (using
one of those cassette-like converter cables) so...

I just replaced an alternator in a 97 SOHC - through the wheel well. I
didn't pull the PS so it was a bit tight getting to the top bolt. The
tensioner takes a 14mm wrench.

Spark Plug Wire Resistance by
M. Butkus
Did you check the cap... that is a more likely spot to jump a spark and
misfire.

My 2003 4 cyl Saturn Vue Ain't Bad Either! by
Pinball Hobbyist
I bought a leftover 2003 Saturn Vue. It is a 140hp 4 cyl 5 speed.
I find it has adequate power (I am very satisfied in this respect) and
excellent gas mileage.... 25 back and forth to work, 28+ on the highway.
Pretty darn good for an SUV! I like the 16 inch tyres and there is
plenty of room in...

Room in an ION vs L200 by
ProfWdesk1
I currently drive an 98SL2. All I really want is enough extra room to put my
coffee cup in the holder and put the car in park at the same time. You really
can't do that with a 98SL2 ... if you can get the shifter into park then you
can't get the cup out. Its fine if you are driving down the road...

Sunroof problems by
AN0NYM0US
I just got my 2000 SL2 sunroof fixed a week ago. Glad I have extended
warrenty!
It was the motor that needed to replace. It will open ok, but when it
close, it keeps clicking when closing (doesn't sounds too healthy). I am
glad that the service rep at dealership is helping me out to find out...

Question about Inputs on '04 VUE heads by
Ted Arlauskas
Does anyone know which radios for the '04 VUEs have inputs on the
head? I'm planning to buy an '04 VUE soon and want to put a PC in it
for MP3s, GPS, etc. I don't want to have to put an amplifier in too.
Thanks,
Ted

LW300 Oil change by
Oppie
I did my first oil change on the '01 LW300. (3L) It has been 5200 miles
since I bought the car with 40K on it from Saturn. The Change Oil Soon lamp
just started to flash.
Found I needed a new tool. The oil plug is removed with a Torx T40 wrench. I
had one but it sheared right off when I tried to...

Saturn reliability: 135,000 -> 175,000 by
David Teichholtz
With all the negative posts about Saturn reliability, I thought I would sum
up my experiences with my 95 SW1.
I bought the car in October 2002 after starting a job which pretty much has
a 100 mile a day round trip commute. (It is from Sudbury MA to Beverly MA
for those of you in the Boston...

LW300 feeling its oats by
Oppie
Since I bought the '01 LW300 back in January, I was curious about how well
it would do flat out. Being usually a sane person, I generally observe the
speed limits (or as they seem to be speed recommendations in this area).
Yesterday though on a straight section of highway, I saw a Chrysler...
