Why are Audi dealerships reluctant to give out part numbers? by Hooch
The times I've phoned up (various) Audi dealerships to find out the price of a part, they seem to have been reluctant to give out the part number. Anyone know why this is the case? Is this just a UK problem?

Hello all, I just picked up an 86 5000 CS Quattro Turbo. I have never owned on of these before, but it looks like a great car! Can anyone provide some insight on maintenance ( e.g. Timing Belt replacement, fluid changes, etc) or known problems I should look out for? Thanks!

New A6 Owner... by bernadou33
Ok, I just purchased a '98 A6 with 120k. I'm wondering if there is a way to tell when the last time it had the timing belt changed? Would car fax show that kind of information? Would there be any other tell tale signs on the car (probably not, but I thought I'd ask). Thanks, B

1990 Audi 80, service manual? Need to repair driver's door, help opening the door panel. by Grey Hodge
I have a 1990 Audio model 80 and the outer door handle has disconnected from the linkage inside. I need to figure out exactly how to open the door panel without damaging it. All I've found so far is four screws and I'm sure I'm missing something because that didn't let the door panel come off. :)...

I replaced the coils on Cyl #3 and #4 but it still misfires. This is a very strange misfire. It misfires at idle, off idle and under load...

I really need to put new sneakers on my 98.5 A4Q this week if possible, and I'm not sure which all-season tires to buy. I'm in western New York, on Lake Ontario, and have sold my extra rims so I won't be running winter tires this year (not sure how much longer I'll keep the car). Can folks...
