C7 by
Blue C5[_2_]
I had the opportunity to get a look at the C7 in town. Our first (small town). It seems as though the roof has been dropped down. My imagination?

Trickle Charging a C7 battery by
Smarty
Having owned C5 and C6 convertibles which have been stored for the
winter, I have become accustomed to using a trickle charger directly
connected to the battery for many years. The rest of the car has been
disconnected and only the trickle charger has been connected to the battery.
The new C7...

Chevrolet Recall by
Blue C5[_2_]
GM has recalled more than a million cars because a heavy key chain or an accidental pull on it can turn off the ignition. My Cruz and Malibu Hybrid are not recalled and even a heavy pull cannot turn off the ignition. On my 2000 Corvette a gentle pull can turn it off. It has a slotted notch in...

GM missed a recall of my 2000 C5. by
Blue C5[_2_]
It has a slot for the key ring instead of a single hole. As I was driving along, I gave the key chain a a light tug and the ignition switched off. Whie the press says you lose steering and brakes, you actually lose power assist and air bags, but I can't verify that. Being an experienced driver,...

1968 corvette wiper door troubleshooting by
Ken[_25_]
When I start my 1968 corvette, the wiper door opens. The wipers and headlights
work fine, but the door stays open unless I close it manually after the car is
turned off. Any suggestions?

PICS: The Corvettes Are Finally Being Rescued from the Museum Sinkhole by
cazza13
Finally the Corvettes are being rescued after the Museum Sinkhole.
The damage looks quiet bad, as to be expected. What a tragedy. It
could have been worse, but at least not all is lost and they are
recovering. Amazing that one of them actually started up. Shows you
the durability of these fine...

Fracking sinkhole swallows 8 cars at Corvette museum in Ky. by

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — A sinkhole formed Wednesday under the
National Corvette Museum here, swallowing eight cars, according
to its executive director.
Some time before 5:30 a.m. CT, the sinkhole started to form,

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Black Widow by

Fans of Captain America can expect to see Chevrolet's

But it won't be Cap driving the Stingray on the big screen, it'll be

1962 corvette concern. by
[email protected]
Hi guys,
Question 1:
I am looking at buying a 1962 corvette. It had a frame off restore in 1989 and paint job(Honduras Maroon). It is in good shape, with just some minor scratches and stuff. The engine (1965) and transmission are not matching numbers. I am going to need to work on the front...

C5 Oil Pressure Sensor by
aRKay[_4_]
The Oil Pressure on my 01 C5 reads full-scale 80 PSI with the key ON
without the engine running and 130 on the DIC. I suspect a bad sensor
and wonder how difficult it is to change?
Is there another way to check that the engine is okay? The oil and
cooling temps are running normal and...

Service traction control? by
brian
My car (an 06 C6) is talking to me again, this time a warning that my
traction control needs servicing (30K mi.).
What's up? Before I throw myself under the mercy of the dealer, is
this something I can "service" myself? I am handy, though at 68 a bit
stiff if much crawling is required.
Ideas?

Wont turn over. by
jim Trinca
1980 Corvette, has intermittent no start problem. For no reason when I least
expect it, there is no one home when I turn the key to start. No noise, not
cranking, just nothing. Battery is up, just got to sit and wait it out, then
when it has a change of mind away it goes again.
