63 Park brake handle question by lib
How does the park brake cable attach to the handle shaft? The end of the cable is fine, I just don't know which parts are missing to re-attach the cable to it. The handle came off in my hand when I pulled on it to set brake. I have a Zip and Corv. Central catalog but I can't tell by...

C3 Alternator Gauge by [email protected]
I bought a 73 with 80k on it a few months ago. I have been noticing that the alternator gauge "bounces" or moves a lot. When i am running at higher rpm's the jitter seems to get better but is still there very slightly. The gauge is always in the plus range but I also notice when the head lamps are...

2006 Z06 for sale $81,485 by Dad
I see that Ogden Chevrolet in Westmont Il. has the only Z06 I've heard of with a removable top, no wonder the price is a bit high. ;-) -- Dad 05 C6 Silver/Red 6spd Z51 72 Shark Black/Black/4spd

Spring is here and I brought the 'vette out after her winter storage. I'm the 2nd owner having acquired it summer '90 which now has 180,000 Km / 110,000 miles on this auto coupe with the Z49 option. First thing I noticed was a very slight fluid leak under the car that appears to be coolant...

C-5 Seat "covers"? by Keith
The leather is cracked in my '97 C-5. I was going to take it into the upholstery shop for repair, then I noticed "seat covers" listed in Mid-America's catalog. Pricey, but what got me was that they say they "replace your existing seat covers" and "you can save your stock ones to put back later" or...

Reprogramming PCM by JG
I'd like to have my fans kick on a little sooner. I see this can be accomplished two ways. By getting a wiring harness and some other hardware or have the PCM reprogrammed. My friend informed me of this site: http://wait4meperformance.com/ He sent the PCM from his 03 Silverado there for...

Which factory radio is correct for a '72 Coupe? by [email protected]
I've been lookng at radios on eBay to replace the newer head unit that came in my '72 Cp. If I have this correct, the green dial mono radio goes up to 1971 and white dial stereo started some time in 1972. I had the dash open and it looks like the transistor and heat sink is still there. There is...
