gjt
'90 L98 Vert. Service Engine Light would come on after about 15 minutes of
driving. Any time I would turn off the engine, it would reset. Comes right
back on when it warms up. Took it to local Firestone. They said my EGR
valve was badly stuck. Said if I continue to drive as is, the Cats...

Brake pedal adj. on C2? by
lib
I want the brake pedal to engage the brakes further from the floorboards on
my 63 (non-power, shoes/drums). I pulled the drums before I started my run
home, and turned the adjusting star-type nut in the front brakes so the
shoes moved closer to the drums. (There are no holes in the backing plate...

bug removal from the front by

I'm going on a car trip and wondered what is best besides a bra, to
keep the bugs from sticking on the front of the car. I'm getting
tired cleaning those little pests off every time I take a car trip.
I was seriously considering taking a cloth of say oil (cooking oil or
wd 40) and wiping it on...

Fun to drive car by

Am I correct from reading some earlier posts that the older Corvettes
are more fun to drive; any particular generation or years? No
argument here but may I ask why?
Is it possible to buy one of those fun cars for the low $30k range in
good shape and ready to drive? I'm not interested in the...

LED Taillights in an 84 by
Art[_3_]
I want to put LED taillights in an '84. When I hook them up as straight
lights and remove the bulb lights from the circuit the turn signal flasher
does not recognize them and the turn signal system reacts as a burned out
bulf would make it react IE: turn signal light stays on without flashing. ...

Dad[_1_]
Spent the weekend at our autocross that our club puts on each year and
besides being hot for 2 days standing on asphalt there seems to me to
be a lack of C6 participation.
After the C5 came out in 3 years there were numerous C5s out there and
many more with the Z06 being added the next year. ...

slovetteman
87 Corvette....118K miles...
I'm having a problem with brake lights and backup lights not working.
I've checked the obvious --- bulbs, fuses, etc., and now at a loss as
to what could cause this problem.
Could this be a switch problem? Although I'm not aware of any switch
that would control these...

Ok group. I have heard of Camaro SS, Nova SS, Chevelle SS.....but Corvette

My wife and I got into a minor spat, I told her there was no such thing as a

prototype that may sell for over 100K. Any C1s, C2s,...
