156 Crosswagon: yes or no ? by
Diego
Hello everybody. This is my first message here.
I would like to know if anybody here got a Alfa Romeo 156 Crosswagon, and if
he is satisfied. What's good in this car, and what's bad ?
Thank you very much for your answers. Pics of your car would also be
appreciated.

Transmixer neglect. by
Dr Entropy
Hooo boi... Waitin' for that Round Tuit has bit me: Input shaft bearing is
now "jangling" prettily. I keep toppin' up the gearbox but I fear I'm now
on borrowed time.
No idea how many miles this box has done, second gear synchro was shot
when I got the car back in '98. "Simpatico with the...

Showing off ones brakes - why? by
Stephen Poley
On my 146 I have quite attractive light alloy wheels, which didn't cost
much more than the standard wheels. When I ordered my 159 I found that
Alfa wanted the best part of 1000 Euros extra for light-alloy wheels, so
I decided not to bother. However the salesman made me an offer which,
while not in...

145 Cloverleaf Alarm fob by
Paul
I've got a 1996 Cloverleaf with an original (so far as I know) Philips
alarm.
The fob is a sealed unit and it seems the battery has finally died.
Nice (UN)helpful chap @ the local Alfa service dealer (Lythgoe, Bolton) says
it's too old and I need a whole new alarm - they can supply one for...

156 Selespeed clutch jerk? by
hologram
It's been a while since I dipped into this group but good to see it's
still as active as ever. My 3 year old 156 Selespeed has developed a
nasty jerky clutch action at low speeds in the last few months which
resulted in some embarassing kangaroo moments crawling through city
centres!
My garage...
