Frankenstein Bolts by
Dave
Ok, got the kit to put the hardtop on my 2000SE. I have the hardtop from a
previous car and the 2000SE I got did not have the hardware. When I tried
to install the frankenstein bolts, they hit the sides of the recess and do
not recess into the holes in the rectanguar chrome piece behind the top,...

pws
I have finally started to part out my '96M edition, along with a few of
the left over parts from the red 1991 that I do not need. I only have 4
miata-related items up right now, but that number will grow today and
over the next several weeks. Right now my listings include:

Anyone familiar with "program" cars? by
Rivergoat
I've seen a couple of Miatas in my area that are priced well below KBB
and have extremely low mileage (one 2004 has 300 miles on it and is
thousands below blue book, even being offered for less than the trade
in value of a comparable car). The dealer said it's a program car, and
from what I've been...

A Tire Test - Any Input??? by
Prometheus7
I recently bought a Miata with worn tires on the rear, the front pretty
good. So, I decided to replace the rear tires. Having bought the car, the
old bank account was about as dry as a parched well in Arizona. Decided to
buy a couple of Daytona tires with a wear rating of 530, even harder than...

New Tires by
Randy Maheux
I have an '03 that came with Bridgstone Touranza EA30s in 205/45-R16 size.
I have not been too impressed with them. Besides, at 18,000 miles, they are
already worn to the warning bars and I'm not a hard driver (I wonder if the
dealer put on used tires before I picked up the car)!
The car is a...

Marco
I've got a Miata '90 model USA, and i've seen that the button for the
"azard" ( four blinking orange lights), isn't lightned, instead of the

Tire Wear by
johnnya
I bought a new 2004 in March and now have 24,000 miles on it. I had to
replace the tires last week as they had no tread left on them ( I did not
check them as often as I should have - just assumed that tires would last
longer than this and only rotated once).
Can someone help me understand if...

failed emissions, jr/sc? by
picaza
hi,
yes connecticut once again has an emission program and my 95 miata
failed w/ high hydrocarbons, (185 vs a pass @ 167). i am wondering if
this is due to the fact that the jr supercharger on the car froze an
idler wheel and shortly there after the belt. i have ordered both parts
and i am...

FS: Bilstein Sports Shocks by
Kevin Chan
I got a Bilstein Sport Shocks for 99+ Miata. They're brand new. Brought them
not too long ago and was planning to lower my car. Now i change my mind. So
these has to go. These shocks are intended for someone using lower spring
and i don't think they'll work with OEM springs. If you got another set...

Rear window plastic by
Don Benton
I saw a rear window plastic repair kit on ebay which required one to
cut out the old window and glue in the new one. The kits run around
$50.
Has anyone has any experience with this?

More new owner questions by
Nick H
I got a great deal on a '93 with a clean carfax record but unknown
maintenance history (and it was such a good deal I wasn't concerned about
this). I'm planning some major PM, and have a few questions:
I'm planning on changing the timing belt (the car's got 108,000 and I don't
know if it's ever...

Rear Tire wear Question by
[email protected]
Reviewed the other posts here about rear tire wear but wanted some
additional insight.
Vehicle is a 2000 Miatia (of course!!) with 54,000 miles. Replaced all
4 tires about 17,000 miles ago. Noticed that both rear tires have
significant wear on the inside edge almost to the point of...

Wheel center-bore by
Grant Edwards
Can somebody point me to a definitive source for a Miata
wheel center bore diameter? I've found three answers so far:
54.06, 54.1, 57.1. I know 57.1 is too big, so it's probably
54.something, but I can't find any official answer anywhere.
