WTCC Monza by
Tony Rickard
It was nice to see Augusto Farfus fend off the BMWs to win the 2nd World
Touring Car Championship (WTCC) race at Monza in his 156. Unfortunately
he was assaulted by another factory 156 in the first corner of the first
race :( but finished 8th. The Brazilian driver is 2nd overall to Yvan
Muller in a...

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! by
alfistagj
Finally got my GT 2.0JTS today.
Colour changed during the 7 months wait (!) but I must say, Rosso Radicofani
(a new metallic red) suits the car perfectly.
All the curves shine like an angel in the blue sky!
Natural leather, 18" GTA rims with 225/40 Michelins and the Bose sound
system to finish it...

Yes/No to 1986 2000 Spider Veloce by
[email protected]
Ok, it's an unfair question but I have very little time.
I can buy a 1986 Spider Veloce for $5000 here in Arizona. The outside
car is in fantastic condition. The engine is not all that clean but
runs. I have all the service records and the car had $4500 of repairs
done 3000 miles ago. Engine...

Yet another split hose! by
R C Nesbit
The 156 1.9jtd has been running a bit lumpy of late,
smoking quite a bit, and using More fuel.
Today #1 son had a listen under the bonnet and located the
induction noise as a split in the air intake hose into the
top of the engine.
Not costed it yet, but the last hose - intercooler, at the...

You meet the nicest epople in an Alfa by
R C Nesbit
Went to a business networking meeting this morning, and I
went out to my car to get something, and there was a
laminated ticket on my windscreen promoting alfaowner.com,
and a red 159 parked up behind my 156.
Inside I collared the chap who I thought had put it there,
and we got to chatting...

Just watched the outakes from the £1000 Alfa challenge on TG recently:

As the file name flashed up as the video was buffering, something
worrying caught my eye:

[FA - UK] Alfa 75 90 Giulietta Alfetta GTV rear brake discs by
MarkK
Hello folks, I haven't been here for a while - priorities elsewhere I'm
afraid.
I'm auctioning a couple of unused 75 rear discs that have been lurking in
the garage for about 15 years. I've wire-brushed the tiny bit of surface
rust off them and they look almost as good as new, except for some tiny...
